  2. I couldn’t agree with you more. It makes absolutely no sense. It also feels like a complete stab to Ukraine and our other allies that the US is continuing to help them get into space. Yes, try not to fight them in space, but it makes no sense to actually be helping them get up there in the first place. It’s not like the UK sadly has much leeway in convincing the US to do otherwise, but we’ve still got to try.

  5. Uuuuum. Sorry, but in this case that is not true. I’m pro peace and expansion in space, but this here is completely unacceptable as it is stabbing our ally in the back. Also, do you know anything about this cosmonaut? He fully backs Putin‘s regime and the war in Ukraine, and we have several photographs to prove this. It’s all over the the Internet, but as usual, the mainstream media doesn’t want to talk about this or anything, that’s truly below the surface because they think people won’t pay attention to it or can’t deal with it. I’m afraid here you are speaking just rhetoric nonsense. I do wish we were all allies again if ever, but sadly, that isn’t the case anymore. We can’t just pretend that it isn’t. Russia is not an ally. One way or another now, they are our enemy.

  6. This is nothing to do with BS politics here. This is simply a case of what is right and what is wrong. Here, sending cosmonauts into space when their country is not our friend anymore is just plain wrong. Especially as this guy is actually pro-Putin and the war Ukraine.😠

  7. I get where he is coming from, and I am all behind SpaceX, but why the hell are we actually even helping Russian cosmonaut get into space in the first place right now? Yes, space needs to remain peaceful, but why exactly are we helping them get from the Earth surface to low earth orbit in the first place when they aren’t our allies? We aren’t even partial friends anymore and rightly so. It makes absolutely no sense and is really stabbing Ukraine in the back when we are supposed to be backing them right now. I mean yes, the ISS needs to be maintained, but surely this can be taken over by other international astronauts, who will be going up as the Russian cosmonauts return to Earth. It’s not like we seriously expect them to seriously try and destroy the ISS do we? Something needs to change.

  9. I know but it’s hardly politics right now. This is an actual war with Russia. Even though the UK and the US ‘technically’ aren’t at war with them right now, they are no longer our real allies or friends, if ever were. The fact that we are still actually now helping cosmonauts to get to low Earth orbit feels just insane and a stab in the back to Ukraine. We need to stop this NOW.
