I appreciate him taking the time to answer these questions. I definitely think he’s right about the movements of the Russian troops down to the south east of the country. The Russians out-ran supply lines after 60 miles in the north-east and now many are having to travel over 100 miles. Plus like you said, as a famous general once said, you go into war with the army you are given. It can take a long time for that same army to change, and a few weeks isn’t long enough.

I couldn’t agree more. We should’ve been giving all of this to Ukraine, including actual damn ‘fighter jets’ from the first week of the invasion. Let alone before even started.

He’s absolutely right. It doesn’t feel like the US is sending a clear message that they want Ukraine to win. If they did they would actually be utilising for transport and military infrastructure to actually get Ukraine the equipment they need, which the US has completely got the ability to actually produce. Artillery is crucial, but more rocket launchers and switchblade drones can make all the more difference than howitzers that aren’t always precision targeted. We critically need to get thousands of these things to Ukraine ASAP. There is no excuse anymore for inaction. The US and neighbouring countries need to send a clear message to Russia that they are not going to win this war and they are going to be kicked out of ALL of Ukraine’s territory and we need to do it NOW.

I couldn’t agree more. Without us sending a steady stream of weapons in rather than one of big deliveries this was inevitably going to happen when it came to supply lines. That is why it has had to be massively supplemented by individual organisations and groups who have been sending in deliveries of things like drones and body armour two units where they are needed most. Unfortunately we can’t seem to do this for Mariupol. To do so would rather required probably direct military involvement from another country, deliveries by the Ukrainians by the sea and push back the Russians that way or perish through the Russian lines in get to Mary or Paul ASAP. All of these are risky, so it feels like Ukraine is just hoping the forces still in the city can hold on for as long as possible until the offensive begins.

I’ve been doing the same thing since the 24th of February. I’m getting really sick of beating this dead horse here yet it feels like we just have to keep going. We need to be sending a clear message to Russia that we are not on their side militarily as well as economically. That means actually getting Ukraine the weapons they need at the levels they need and do it when we actually are capable of doing so, not when it is out our own discretion. These need to be heading into the country regularly and fast. Not just every couple of days or week in bulk loads that they need time to get to where they are needed.

@FatalCharade Well frankly we are basically already in it. We are just too cowardly to actually admit it. It’s better to do that and actually get this war done over with rather than being protracted and allowing more innocence to die for our sake.
5
We need to be sending them in thick and fast. Not just every other week.
4
Not really. THIS IS JUST ENPUGH TO KEEP THEM GOING. This money for a country goes away in less than a week if there is no work. All of this is basically going towards infrastructure and the war effort as it should be. We are ALL going to have to keep sending money and aid both supplies and hopefully people to Ukraine for probably years to come, and we are just going to have to except that. It is the right thing to do.

We are. It's to not fight like then because it is barbaric and we fight in our own way with modern tech and our BRAINS.

I wasn’t aware about airship military programs before. Only knew that as being a WW1 thing. If so then that would be quite interesting. Especially at night. We should definitely be rotating soldiers trained in Poland/Romania and Slovakia though. They could be loaded up with more equipment and trained with it in the safety of another country before heading back in. We are apparently doing that now with some of the larger equipment that is going to be delivered, but there is always a chance that this has been going on all this time and we just haven’t been told about it.
2
@ceetee9659 Exactly. You can't just go and send aaaaall of your soldiers into one country when your own country is so freaking huge with multiple boarders. That is just asking to be invaded, and honestly I'm looking at China here, even with their so called close relationship. And those remaining forces are going to bust become more and more basic as you go down the line. With how Russia is, I don't want to think what they'd be forces to resort to for the last few soldiers if they don't just surrender.

This is exactly why we should’ve given Ukraine the type of systems that Israel uses so it could have its own iron dome. The skies need to be closed over Ukraine instead of us constantly arguing about this we should’ve just given them what they needed from day one. It’s clear Russia wasn’t going to attack the rest of us over this so we should’ve done it either way.
2
@I Love Aviation - Burger Club - always open. Surface to air missile systems like the one Israel uses for its cities defence system would definitely help with this. At least in stopping incoming rockets anyway.
2
Yeah that really does seem like a likely maximum for the orcs honestly. If we can get the equipment to the units that need it that have actually been on camera saying so, then the fighters on the ground should be able to stop out right the Russian advance and start to push them back more.
1
@drevilatwork ell, glad to see this's aaall being reversed now.

@ceetee9659 Couldn't agree more. If the rest of our governments had the same backbone as the fighters of Azov then Russia wouldn't been crushed and Putin dead by now.
1
I couldn't agree more. We need the money to keep flowing into Ukraine regularly as transferred amounts rather than every more and then large sums that have to be filtered down the line. This is a developed economy no a one of or occasional charity. It needs to be sustained and INCREASED or it isn't going to work, and we need to do this NOW. Same for training on newer fighter jets rather than kicking it down the ballpark like everything else.
1
Well to be honest if we know then you can guarantee Russia would know. They may be struggling in some areas but they are not done. After all these guns are really old anyway. Switchblade information can be found anywhere online, with the exception now being the Phoenix Ghost, which we seem to have no information about apart from rumour. Let’s just hope it stays that way until it is too late for the Russians.
