You do know they aren’t actually hunting, a real fox right? It’s a cent trail. I thought this was common knowledge for years now?! BTW, I know riders like this and they are actually some of the nicest most cultured people you can meet who’re still country people. It’s usually people on the other side of the argument unfortunately who are sometimes the worst. Especially when you ask them common knowledge stuff and they just try and babble on to cover up the fact that they know very little. 😓😅

Here here. I would absolutely love to take part in a traditional hunt like this sometime. I ride all the time when I get the chance, and even though my dad has gone on a few sent trail hunt rides, I haven’t had the wonderful opportunity to take part myself yet. It is such a wonderful part of our culture with the whole set up, even without any actual foxes being hunted. We can not allow this to be lost.

It’s not a real foxhunt. We use a scent trail for these things. It’s so the horses and dogs can follow the trail laid out a few hours before. There is no actual fox killing. If there is one out there that does that then it is an illegal hunt. My dad takes part in cent trail foxhunts, and they are absolutely wonderful pieces of traditional fun now and a way to keep the culture, traditions and riding alive.

@joannietrotter2344 Here here. My dad is well cultured, but him and me have very little money coming in but we, but we still maintain good connections with lovely people at farms and stables and save up enough money to take part in these sent Trail foxhunts and ride outs when we can.

It’s not illegal when it’s simply a central. Why should we lose the traditional ride part of it and the uniforms? That would make no sense. Traditions don’t just die. They evolve. I’m so glad we are keeping the traditional alive. Anyone who just wants to get rid of it at this point now is being a whiny horrible selfish wuss.
