  2. Yeah, I really can’t imagine ever signing myself up to a paperless contractual agreement like that for my whole life. If Asian families really want to move on and frankly survive in the modern world, they need to be more willing to let their children go, even if that person is from a completely different culture or ethnic group to themselves. I can definitely see that being needed in Japan.

  6. This would’ve been a great opportunity to branch out around the world. Introduce its public to more people from different cultures when its countries so homogenous, bringing a lot more money on top of paying back some of the incredible expenses needed to construct and host the Olympic games and help to push the country more into the future. Now it just feels like a hollow shell. We can only hope that they will be able to get enough people in to warrant this, but it just feels like some sort of Disneyland of hopes and dreams but then only a couple hundred people turned up. Really hope this will change as the games go on. The country desperately needs money, and more people from around the world to import cultural understandings, workers and money. Otherwise it is doomed in the long run.

  7. This is a really nice report, but unfortunately I find it hard to take it seriously, especially when it came to the law side of things considering how it is in China right now. They have taken over the running of the country in that they have removed truly free elections and the voice of the people which this video does not address. This is very upsetting as Hong Kong was still one of the shining jewels in the crowd and its British style governing system is a big part of that and now it has been tainted. It breaks our hearts and we truly wish for Hong Kong to be free again.

  9. But seriously not even tell them. That’s absolutely ridiculous. The US Army is usually well coordinated so for them to do this is completely out of the blue. Perhaps this was actually their plan all along. Intentional incompetence, perhaps to try and somehow allow the Taliban to capture this place before the army did. That’s the only possible explanation I can think of, even though it doesn’t make sense.

  14. Couldn’t agree more. Seems video frankly makes me feel heartbroken seeing as there was so many of these positive influences, and now I’m scared that they could be chipped away at in favour of more Chinese CCP approved cultural in governing laws. Especially most of all units elections. It feels like a nightmare happening and we are doing so little to help. It honestly feels like it would be better if Britain was involved in a territory again (at least to protect it) over what is happening now.

  15. I feel the same way. I was so looking forward to the Tokyo Olympics as I absolutely love Japan. If it wasn’t for the pandemic, I probably would’ve wanted to use this opportunity to visit the country for the first time. It would’ve been so wonderful after the travesty of Rio 2016, but this has just muddled everything off. It’s just like what happened with the countries first Olympics all over again. That was supposed to happen in the 1940s but then World War II happened and forced it to be cancelled. Now it’s happened again but this time with an epidemic. This would’ve been absolutely wonderful for the country and the world but now it feels all over the place. We can only hope that this will still be a wonderful bring together moment for the world, even in lockdown to remind us what is important.

  16. That definitely seems to be the case. Just by looking at artists online who would’ve liked to become animators, it seems like it’s not a case of not having enough of them but simply because they are not willing to endanger their health and destroy their personal lives with low wages and long work hours. Actually double the pay ‘which they could do’ and cut there working hours to about 9-5 or at most 9-6 each working day and they’d be flooding in.

  18.  @SoundsOfTheWild3  Yeah it feels like Japan really does need to learn this. At a time when they need immigration the most, they seem to be more desperate than ever to keep people out and put people off working there. I want to try working or maybe even live in Japan someday. And although food and housing in the countryside is incredibly cheap now, due to so many people just moving to the cities, work place payment and work ethic is incredibly cruel and not compatible with what we are used to experiencing here in the west or Australia and other developed countries. We all really want to give Japan a try, but every time we do, it keeps trying to slam a door in our face. If they keep doing this out of elderly stubbornness, the country is going to die from the inside.

  21. Yeah it’s definitely a relieving thing to see. I was really worried they were trying to interfere violently against the elephants eventually but thankfully this hasn’t been the case at all. They look so sweet. I hope we can see more scenes like this in the future with mutual respect.

  22.  @sentauri43  Absolutely. The Rio Olympics were quite a waste. Massively over budget. Never committed to the construction and environmental cleanups prior to and during the Olympics and everything has just fallen apart afterwards. What did we expect with that government.

  23. We all unfortunately saw this coming. Literally does feel like, if there is ever to be substantial change inside of Japan, bringing in more people from abroad along with their work ethics and cultures that come with it might be the only fix, rather than just ‘more babies’. For Japan to actually survive, it needs more than just more people. It needs drastic workplace and societal cultural change in order to actually survive.

  24. Not going to happen unfortunately. If anything we probably need a war now in order to actually fix a lot of our global problems. People like to say violence doesn’t solve anything, but unfortunately the vast majority of all the worlds problems have been solved by violence. It’s just the escalating and deescalating moments that are so uncomfortable. We will probably have to cut our population quite a bit and put things back into place or have a new world order is for certain countries again like the end of theEnd of the Cold War before we can properly get back to trying to restore peace. Most likely by finally sorting out the situation between Russia and Ukraine and the neighbouring countries. As well as China figuring out exactly what it wants to do and how we are going to stop it, if that can even be done. Along with Japan finally sorting itself out. Whether that be it domestically, politically and militarily. Not to mention South America, America, India and Australia. Maybe not necessarily military for all of them, but definitely internal reshuffles. After that, I truly hope peace and love can be shared even more across all of our nations.

  31. I am still don’t know how to feel about this. I hugely support Tesla and believe that opening a factory in China was the wise decision, but at the same time I know that China is indeed suppressing ethnic and religious minorities and that these areas should not be used like this because China is allowing it in terms of price and convenience for other companies to move in. We need electric cars, and Tesco’s doing a great job in that, but same time we cannot be seen to somehow be complicit in China’s actions. This’s a huge ethical conundrum.

  42. I’m in the west, Britain, and I can assure you we don’t want to war between India and China. That’s the very last thing we want. Not only will that hurt deeply one of our Commonwealth nations, but it will inevitably draw in other countries including our own to try and break up the fighting which could very well lead to a third world war. And trust me, a war with China would be the very last thing we would ever want. We would rather go to war with Russia before them.

  44.  @kursdmappingandco.4409  How is it creating tension? The tension is always been there. It’s literally been acknowledged it’s been there for decades. Excepting China as it is now is only encouraging them to believe they can get away with doing whatever they want and then just burying it from their own people. Asia is awesome, but China’s current rolling system is the biggest no-no. And the terrible cast system in India needs to be undone. Not to mention the somehow continuing dislikes between India and Pakistan just because there are two different faiths. We in the west stopped this ages ago, so why are you having a go at us. We don’t want all this fighting. It breaks our hearts every time we have to see it, ‘and we aren’t even living there’, so how on earth can you cope with it? It’s called desensitisation, but it doesn’t mean then that it is okay that it continues. America across the pond is desensitised to a lot of the things that are wrong in their country, but it doesn’t mean that they should be continuing either. The east is a wonderful place, just as much of the west, but it’s got a lot more issues to sort out across the board before it can compare to what has happened up here Europe. I’m really really sorry for is having to say this, but it is true. I know it’s not nice to hear, but sometimes you just Gotta accept the facts before we can learn and move on.

  45. I doubt it will be a civil war though. Seeing as it will be the military fighting against its own people. And the number of people who actually back the military is so small that I doubt they will make up a force that will want to fight against the others trying to reclaim their right to democracy in the first place. So we can safely say it will just be a fight, rather than a civil war.

  50. Doesn’t stop it feeling like another sweet thing is being lost in the world. We may have gained things massively technologically in the 21st-century, but more so than not, I still feel like we are losing more of what was worth cherishing that has been gained. I am very much child of the 21st-century, and have no memory of growing up with the things that my parents once knew, but I can still see that they are things that are worth protecting.😔 It seems like in China and Japan they are more happy to see these things slip away than most. 💧
