I am still don’t know how to feel about this. I hugely support Tesla and believe that opening a factory in China was the wise decision, but at the same time I know that China is indeed suppressing ethnic and religious minorities and that these areas should not be used like this because China is allowing it in terms of price and convenience for other companies to move in. We need electric cars, and Tesco’s doing a great job in that, but same time we cannot be seen to somehow be complicit in China’s actions. This’s a huge ethical conundrum.

@sko1beer It is a shame Starlink won’t work over mainland China. Then again, there’s absolutely no reason why it won’t. Once it’s up there, trying to cope very well go and shoot down every last one of them.I’m betting once they are fully operational, he will eventually make it possible so that everyone can get it in China anyway. Of course, it would be wise of him to try and collect as much money from customers before then as possible, so that the company will have some money to fall back on after China forces them to close their factories once they break that agreement.
