@rambobrown918 Exactly. where were they when this assault happened? I’ve seen a lot more videos than not of the police not being anywhere near the scenes and the protesters getting very close to violently assaulted without the police there to help. ‘What the hell is going on’???

This is very inappropriate behaviour indeed. Especially by public workers like this.😞 Where were the police when this happened? This is actually very much aggravated assault and warrants a fine or being arrested.

Except they didn’t fight with them, they were assaulted by them. Where were the police when this happened? The scaffolders should really have been arrested for aggravated assault.

If you mean by actually turning up then, yeah. Where were the police when this happened? These scumbags who assault the protesters keep saying that the police are going after the wrong people, at the same time, I’ve seen a lot more instances of protesters being assaulted and attacked by rough members of the public without a policeman in sight to actually prevent the violence from happening. It makes no sense. Surely London has enough police officers to have at least one on standby to keep an eye on things?

@SanderSA-ny3lh You seriously call them climate terrorists, when they haven’t done any damage physically to anything that actually causes damage to the climate in the first place? When, if anything a climate terrorist is actually someone who does terrorism against the environment. And by that definition, it’s the government and the people who actually put out the pollution in the first place who are the climber terrorists guilty of eco-side. You really do know nothing and are on the wrong side of history here. Although I doubt you’ll want to admit your thoughts and opinions here to your children and family in a few decades to just a few years when you have no choice but to change your ways.

@James_Doyle83 Exactly. this is clear assault here by the workers not the protesters, and they have now got video evidence here to warrant a prosecution for unpaid civil work like clearing litter or perhaps a fine.

I do. The actions by the scaffolders here, is completely inappropriate and unwarranted. They weren’t even the people driving here, so they have even less reason to do what they did. The police should’ve been there. I’ve seen a lot more instances of the police not being near the scenes of the crime than actually being there to help. Something ODD is going on.

@evangeorge5898 You are exactly right. The actions by the scaffold workers here is completely unwarranted and is a clear case of aggravated assault. They weren’t even the ones driving here, so they had even less of a stake in doing what they did, except for perhaps a case of bias or prejudice. This video is good documentation for a later arrest if the protesters wish to prosecute. I know some people don’t like the idea of that, but we are supposed to be a civilised country (this is NOT America) and we can’t just allow people to be assaulted and attacked because they are getting in some people’s way when they are doing it for something they truly believe in.
