So then, in the end, our worries about Russia have actually helped to benefit and unify our alliances and unified hope for the future in a way we haven’t seen for decades. Who would’ve thought it.

The fact that they are still working together and the mea presence of the ISS is what is so important to show what we can achieve together as a species. No matter what happens, the ISS must endure. Especially as it is to be the building bed of what's to come. I truly hope that all the Astronauts continue to work together. Who knows, perhaps something special might just happen to turn this all around. Recommend people tech out especially season 2 of For All Mankind.

That was an absolutely brilliant interview. I think honestly it will go down as one of the most important and memorable of the whole war. Thank you Zelenskyy for taking the time out of your schedule to do this. All of us who have to will to do so will try and support you and all the people in Ukraine will more than just words. We can all do our bit in one way or another. SLAVA UKRAINE

I feel so sorry for all Russians who're now having to live under these restrictions EVERY DAY as it just gets worse and worse. Please stay strong and RESIST, and if you can, fight back. The future is in your hands just as much as Ukraine's.
93
This devastation is just absolutely soul crushing with every padding day. Please stay strong Ukraine. You will win this day.
87
Thinking about those soldiers, trying desperately to survive, let alone succeed on the front lines every day and the families who are trying to cope without them who are also trying to survive with their own dangers. Stay safe Ukraine. We will never leave you in this.

It truly is, but it’s also so amazing that people around my age and even younger are as organised here as they are. It is quite amazing. It really goes to show that freedom is worth fighting for if it enables people like this to be empowered. Imagine this, across the whooooole of China. It would be truly a complete revolution, and this time the right kind.
54
The fact that the tank aimed directly at that person in the building is apparently believed to be because it was able to pick up the IR lens from the phone being used apparently the infrared lens is what is used to allow cameras to focus on close or distant objects and the tank is able to pick this up because rocket launchers and laser guided missiles use the same thing and tanks are able to pick them up so they know where to aim in case they are in danger. This is a warning out to some people in case they are too far away to attack the tank but are also still within tank’s line of fire. Be safe all in Ukraine. Glory to you.
47
Thank you to the crew here for bringing this reporting to the world. All the strength and love to the people of Ukraine.
44
We all stand with you Ukraine. Please continue to hang in there and STAND STRONG. YOU CAN DO THIS. Slava Ukraine
32
All I can say it ABOUT GOD DAMN TIME. We've been needing these things for yeeears now and now we're having to play catchup. Hopefully we can do it in time.
30
Overall, this is absolutely brilliant news. Keep it up Ukraine. Your allies will continue to support you to the very end.
19
IKR. Now when we look back everything feels like such a long time ago.
19
I totally agree. If someone sees something wrong with what he said here, then they are reeeally grasping as straws. He didn't state any sort of US intent, it was just a FACT.
17
This is still absolutely unbelievable. I knew that Elon would win this in the end,But do you think he would win this fast and be willing to go all in on it, clearly goes to show how much she believes it can benefit his long-term goals. Just imagine pairing TwitterWith the abilities of Starlink as well as having a good built in feature for Tesla cars. I am a full supporter of Elon in every way, but even I didn’t think he would go this far to actually buy have a social media company. That is just some next level billionaire stuff. But this time, unlike it seeming somehow pompous or almighty ruler complex, this actually makes sense based on what we have seen of him in the past and what he wants to ultimately achieve. For that, he still maintains my full support, and I hope others will do the same. 😎👏🏼👏🏼

I hope that Ukraine is able to take back ALL OF ITS TERRITORY including in Donetsk and Crimea before any sort of deal is made, otherwise it is a guaranty the Russia will brake it eventually. Ukraine can do it, IF we keep our deliveries of supplies including weapons and bigger hardware than what has already gone into the country. This needs to include the weapons from our main inventories like the surface to air missile, older fight jets and tanks rather than just necessarily our surplus supplies in storage.
16
Makes me incredibly proud as well to be a Briton and see so many of my fellow countrymen going over to fight to protect our European ally.🇬🇧🇺🇦

This report should highlight just much as anything important Ukraine is the wider world. Not just because of the people and what it means for freedom and democracy in the western world and by extension the rest of the world, but also how much of our food is critically linked to this country and many poorer nations. It shows how much we should be much more invested in this war and helping Ukrainians to fight far more than we are. It is good that are more offensive weapons are being delivered week after week, but it still is not of the numbers and level that we could very easily spare that they need. We need to do this now otherwise we are going to all feel it in our hearts, stomachs and pockets. We need to get involved otherwise it will inevitably lead to wider implications around the whole world that would just cost everybody far more financially than any war in Ukraine would over some weapons we could easily construct more of. We need to do the NOW.

My goodness I cannot even imagine how terrifying it must’ve been to be stuck on that floating fishing raft for that amount of time.
10
All of these images coming out of the Bucha area are just heartbreaking over the past two days. A terrible legacy for the area and an aftermath that will take a long time stabilised with everything that needs to be cleared and possibly disarmed. Putin will pay dearly for this. He needs to be taken out, and there must be no censorship at this. It really is so sad to hear that final statement, that that man wished nothing more than “for Russia to be destroyed.”😔

I just feels soooo natural to see Obama behind the podium again. It just feels RIGHT you know.
8
Hopefully he headed out to a more sheltered area after this.

I absolutely totally agree with you, on all counts. Thanks for also making a note on the fifth one.Child porn should obviously never be allowed on these platforms, but it makes sense for obscene or graphic content to still be seen as we can’t just go on sense of the world. If you want to see tits or sex then we have that right, but we also need to be able to see the actual truth of what is happening in the world with things like war or poverty, And cannot just be hidden away because of our own sensibilities. At the same time of course, although FreeSpeech is highly important, free speech cannot be absolute. We know this in the UK and has been a natural instinct. In America they seem to feel like they can say what whatever they like, and then attack you for basically saying the same sort of stuff at the same level. In Britain we don’t really do that as obviously if you go too far then you can get in trouble or arrested. Naturally of course these have to be regulated and are decided on by the people rather than some sort of overall ruler. These sort of careful limits need to be applied to Twitter, without going so far as to eventually turn away a large amount of customers who would feel like they were being themselves oppressed. Otherwise people like Trump will just come along again and once again say they want to set up their own version of Twitter for the more extreme angles that will only brewed more for right opinions leading to more hatred of planned actions. Open discussions still need to be maintained.

Thank goodness a lot of the international students who went there have already left the city. For all those remain, please stay strong and we are all wishing you the best of luck in the fight to come. We believe in all the people of Kharkiv.
6
@tayler2396 Actually This gun is apparently quite effective as with it being watercooled it can continue to fire basically I’m definitely if you can keep loading it. Plus apparently it was used extensively during WWII and it isn’t in fact the museum piece. Ukraine in fact has hundreds of them that have remained in storage since the end of the war and have only just been recognised in the public eye of other nations are still being a part of the Standard military equipment when needed. Of course that has only happened now.
6
I couldn’t agree more. One way or another, what Ukraine is doing right now is absolutely necessary.
6
This truly is amazing that this is so heavily interconnected. I truly hope that this war could eventually spell the end of the Belarus President. If the people had been able to kick him out or even kill him in time, this invasion may never have happened. Looks like these forces could well be the beginning of the end for him as well as Putin's. Stay strong Belarusian fighters fighting with Ukraine. Your cause is just and we all wish you the very best.
5
Don't you mean Vice-President Biden. LOL
5
Exactly. They are fighting in spite of fear, because they know truly what they are fighting for in one way or another. For that we owe them everything and must give them all the support we can
5
Wearing body armour while driving your tractor across your farm feels like just one of the craziest things to me and certainly nothing that would come naturally to mind. This war truly has shaken the whole world up.
5
Sometimes, in the end, you've just gotta do what you gotta do. And here, the answer to that is either a no fly-zone, or proper boots on the ground and hope that'll actually be enough. If it's not, then so be it. At least if some of us die then at least we do so doing the right thing, rather than living and doing so with the knowledge of what it came at.

LMFAO

WHAT!? Why the hell are 15,000 Irish Americans living in Ukraine in the first place,? That sounds absolutely crazy considering how close it is to Russia and situation over there in the first place. I was expecting perhaps a couple thousand maximum. Certainly not this many. Bloody hell they’ve gotta get out of there fast but there’s no way the US can take on all of them. Guess they’ll have to be joining the fight eventually after all as well if Russia does start forcing its way in.
4
Truly, the efforts from Ukrainians and those from all over the world has become a modern day Noah’s Ark. It is a relief to see in the face of such terrible tragedy every day. Well done to everyone who is trying to help in their own way.
4
These guys are just the best. Can totally imagine that if they were face-to-face with Russians they would beat them down with their own fists.
4
Yep. Putin totally ran away for a moment there. Oh the irony.
4
Please let this day also mark the turning point for hopes of actually helping the remaining forces in Mariupol. They have fort so bravely and heroically fir sooo long that we simply MUST DO SOMETHING. And that includes from other countries. Hopefully that'll be what happens in the coming days after the meetings in Ukraine and Russia by the US officials. We can only hope, otherwise actual military action by the Ukrainian forces or even Black Ops from outside will have to be used to back them up or help to get as many out of there as possible until the Ukrainian offensive can retake the city. Please, to all the Marines and soldiers of the Azov Battalion, hang on in there just a little bit longer. Just stay smart and keep taking one day at time.
3
It’s not called pride. It’s called doing the right thing for your country and people. Would you have done a ceasefire with Hitler? I don’t think so because you know that would never last.
3
The other problem is also that apparently there are still 100 civilians trapped in the Azovstal steelworks apparently the report after the last evacuation was rush before a complete and accurate number could be made. It turns out that many others were still alive in other areas of the underground contacts and also trapped behind rubble which meant that when the total came up there was still about 100 people left. So the evacuation of civilians, let alone the wounded and fighting soldiers is still not completed. We critically need to get this done NOW and can’t stop the pressure going to get them out. 🇬🇧🇺🇦
3
This is incredibly disturbing. I would’ve possibly suspected asbestos as being a cause of it but that causes lung cancer not brain tumours so this is very suspicious indeed.
3
@JTMaster Ah thanks for informing us. I should really start researching older Ukrainian history. People used to tie Russia and Ukraine together as somehow being one country waaay to much before the 24th of February. It really is hugely insulting looking back now so I think we're all going to have to fix this going forward to give Ukraine the light it deserves.
3
@veganpotterthevegan Too true. More weapons and ammo please along with food and medical supplies any day. Prayers are the last thing they need.
3
@torresthemonster That’s why we’ve got to covertly, try and persuade ex-Air Force and Royal Air Force personnel to go over there and join the Ukrainian foreign Legion and they could be the ones to actually fly the Apaches. It’s not a bad idea as Russia isn’t exactly keeping track of everyone who is entering the country right now.
3
Yeah it's very refreshing throughout. It feels like I'm watching something more akin to a UK broadcast, except the host is still interrupting a little more. Still though, this's much better than the usual US news interviews.
3
Yeah people like mr tomato wig really are the limit for media channels like Twitter to me.
3
I would've said CANZUK would make more sense right now. Just imagine what it'd be like with all four nations developing hypersonic weapons together and with us being at such different points around the would it would really put our possible enemies at a disadvantage. It has been talked about more seriously in recent years in the UK Parliament, but it seems not quite soon enough. Better late than never though I guess.
3
Very great story to hear indeed.👏🏻 Not a miracle though. Just great timing. Americans really love to throw that word around way too much. Hope the man who was injured gets out of hospital very soon.
2
Let us at least hope not. Thankfully this is very much an international affair now, so perhaps we can expect to see it completed sooner.
2
I still find it HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS that an Osprey (that so far have had a very good track record) would go down now of all times, all the way out in the middle of nowhere. Honestly, I can't help but feel something else is going on. We can't deny this. My condolences still go out though to all the Marines lost in the crash.
2
HERE HERE. Don't just set the clock back to pre-Russian invasion. All of Ukraine needs to be theirs again. If Russian get's back just what they had before, they'll just start it aaall over again in another few years but even worse.
