  1. Doesn’t really matter if it did or didn’t anyway. The Oscars are behind the times on what is real or not. I trust the BAFTA’s results a lot more, and thankfully once again they were very accurate to how the films really were, rather than who paid the society the most.

  2. Matthew Champion Definitely. Anime gets the exact same problem with the west. It always tries to lump it in with the rest of western animations and most the time never even gives it a full nomination in anything. This was perfectly represented in the Oscars this year. Weathering With You should have at least been up three nomination if not a win in the 2020 best animated feature category, but instead it was Toy Story 4! I mean...WHAT? It’s just ridiculous now.
