It is incredibly annoying that this guy is speaking complete, and total sense right now. I mean, he’s only doing it now. He absolutely has no choice, and is wanting to challenge Putin a bit on this, but it doesn’t change the fact that what he is speaking is very much the truth on the ground. Even if it is a lot of his early decisions that’s led to this domino affect in the first place.

Honestly, to save the city from further destruction, and probably his own skin one way or another, it would make more sense to hand the city back over to Ukraine and surrender. Then he can give information about Russian forces to end it sooner, and perhaps lighten his sentence by a few years.
