  1.  @grime_garage  You do make a very good point. We are an island nation after all. However your mentality about building up with sounds disturbingly similar to the people who liked the first council flats. Look how that turned out. Building upwards isn’t the solution, building down our population is. Then everyone can have a nicer home, without spoiling the view.

  2. This is exactly my point. We already have too many houses being built in the UK already, let alone the ones that are being built on the floodplains. When will people realise that we are an island nation, therefore our resources are finite. We should be demolishing our buildings, refurbishing them and reducing our population, not increasing everything. Global warming is only making it even worse than it already is on its own.

  3. Wow, I really didn’t expect a collapse in this flooding. I guess the stress on the building must’ve just been one too many. At least the majority of all the new flood defences are working really well and the emergency units are doing a great job.
