Definitely. These are rioters, not true protesters. If they were real protesters, they will actually make a lot more sense. And even then, in this day and age, that’s a bit of a stretch

Well it’s not really going to help when those people still were breaking social distancing rules anyway, and obviously they were going to be overshadowed by these thugs here. Either way none of this should’ve gone ahead in the first place. The organisers of the ‘peaceful’ protest should’ve known this was going to happen, which means by extension they are responsible for this in the first place as well.

@tanktutorials That’s true in most cases, except for climate change ones. That’s usually because they actually have genuine facts to back them up. Although, protests in China, especially in Hong Kong are probably an exception. They really do need to get violent, with the ‘highly accurate’ facts they have to back them up.

Well, if it ends up locking up more people like this, then bring it on. If it will finally put more of these people away who do nothing but harm our country, then all the better for it. By the way, I’m left leaning, and even I think this is needed. Too many people are rioting and protesting about stuff that just isn’t worth complaining about. It’s just people who feel disenfranchised and don’t have any genuine direction in their lives to keep them busy so this helps to take some of it out. It’s their own fault, not the governments. They are trying to do the best they can all the time in a country that is very complicated. There are always going to be people who slipped through the cracks, but inevitably, they always think that this means there is something terribly wrong with the country, but it’s just simply the way of life. There is no such thing as a perfect system, yet these people seem to want a perfect world for every country to be handed to them on a plate. Sometimes, we just have to do the best we can. And the police now have to clean it up. It’s sad, but it really does feel true.

You're Wrong Fascist Definitely. BLM was just as bad. I couldn’t believe how easy it was for people to get swept up in The agenda of it all to completely ignore all the social distancing rules, which completely screwed us over in the long run and the amount of damage and insult to our country in the process.

@PsyFactors Well, it doesn’t really matter if those people were muted or not, because what we are still seeing here, even if it is just one part of it, is still the truth. And it is very horrific to see. Even if there was some peaceful protesters, it doesn’t excuse what has happened here.

@ben2nd Here here. The majority of the British public have had enough of all of these idiot protesters and rioters. I mean sure, the environmental ones have the actual facts to back them up and usually act a lot more responsible in the end as a result as they have to stay aware of their public image in remaining connected with other people and actual facts to maintain momentum, as you should, but the rest of these protesters and rioters we can’t say the same for.

George Duffy Here here. If these people thought they were actually making any sort of difference, they should really think again. This definitely makes me back the police even more so than I did before. I now want them to shoot all of these people, and get it over with to cleanse our country of some of the hoodlums, but then I remember we are ‘not Americans’, so we have to do the right thing as much as we can hear under the circumstances and be the better man.

Finally, a newspaper that isn’t scared to say it like it is. These are scummy thugs plain and simple. The police are not the enemy here, it’s the bloody rioters like these. Lock them up, every single one of them. Better yet, just put them all down. Then at least we have a bit more room in this country and we get rid of the true undesirables at the same time. I know it’s horrible to say, but seriously, the patients on the side of the rest of us has just reached ‘breaking point’ with these people who just can’t seem to sit on their hands and just wait it out. They have nothing better to do but make a fuss about everything and ruin what’s left for the rest of us. We need this bill NOW. We back the Police. Stay strong guys.❤️
