  1. Exactly. They have the right, and also the necessity to use them right now. Also, they have also agreed apparently to keep track of each one of them being fired, and where they most likely have landed, which means they can highlight those areas on a map for potential cleanup operations if needs be, therefore lowering the long-term damage that could be caused by unexploded munitions if so occurs. This is a pretty good idea really and one that should’ve been done by other countries a long time ago. If Ukraine does do this, then they very much should receive the cluster munitions.

  3. You clearly don’t understand how those work. Also, they are exactly nuclear weapons here. If anything customisations a brilliant idea that help to take out enemy personnel. The controversy really is in the failure rate in how long they can linger after war, if they don’t all explode. Ukraine has the right to use them if they so wish as they never signed up to the convention of not using them in the first place, and they wouldn’t have perhaps needed them if we have just given everything to Ukraine that they needed months ago in the first place.
