  1. The silence of it all just feels like it adds to the devastation. Of course you want a village to be quiet, but with all of this wreckage and damage around, it feels far more ghostly than anything else. Like a spirit has been removed at the same time from the air the people breathe. I truly hope that when the war is over these communities won’t just continue to crumble and will be able to come back together and the local authorities an international community can help them to rebuild better than they were before. Stay strong people. You can make it through this.

  2. They have it coming. We just need to make sure this time, unlike the Russians against Ukrainian civilians, that there will be no Russian civilians caught or directly hit in an attack on Russian soil.
