  1. Yeah, there was always something really strange but also really beautiful about hearing birds song after such terrible destruction. In spring and summertime, it seems to represent new life after death. Much with the flowers and long grass now growing around the wreckage of all the vehicles in the fields. It’s an absolute hell storm though for people having to de-mine and remove munitions in a lot of areas as it’s going to be hard to find them and a lot more dangerous, but still is a beautiful site.

  2. I can only imagine what this fight must’ve been like. Have a feeling based on a lot of the damage that it was done mostly by artillery raining down and the rest of the troops just couldn’t keep moving in the vehicles so just decided to bail out.
