@GLee-lk3rf Here here. The protesters on mainland Britain are all just proving the point that we actually need the bill now. The rest the majority population is just sick of these protests at this point. I know they are important civil liberties, but this bill won’t wipe them out or something, yet people seem to think we are living in some kind of far right totalitarian state😓. Absolute nutters. Try living in Russia or worst-case China or North Korea for a while and see how they feel after that.

@gooner3654 Well of course that’s the case. If you’re a westerner living in China you know beforehand ‘not to stick your neck out’ otherwise you are just as screwed, if not more so than some locals. If you keep your head down like that then of course you are just going to enjoy some of the better elements obvious society run like this with usually nice local people. That’s inevitable. Keeping your head down and ignoring the facts not exactly a healthy way of pushing a society forward.

@JesusHChrist-q9d Well, you say that, and yet large protests are happening still all the time that end up being violent anyway, so it’s hard to say that these ‘assessments’ right now are exactly working.

Oh for goooodness sake man. SERIOUSLY!? Why...WHY THE HELL ARE THEY DOING THIS AGAIN.😩 Why the hell can’t Ireland just act more ‘normal’. Well, normal for an area in the rest of the UK. THAT’S ALL WE ASK.😓😞 from the way they’re acting it’s honestly hard to tell anymore what they are even writing about. Is it that kill the bill nons, Brexit, covid, some kind of border dispute or just good old stress!?😔

@kinglaffey8174 That is very true. In Russia they seem to majority be able to fully celebrate their own culture heritage without criticism. That is one aspect I want us to take back on from them. If only they could do it more though without still so much pressure from the Kremlin and Putin from what he considers threatening elements.

@jws2906 I am actually entirely aware of the historical causes of these actions. Frankly if a Briton isn’t well versed in it ‘out of necessity’ at this point, then they really do have something wrong with them. It’s just that by now it feels like we really should have a lot of it put behind us, except for when it comes to the IRA of course. A lot of that still isn’t sorted out.

I just hope we can maintain the peace with some of the bigger global powers was still returning to fighting with some of the nations that are necessary like China, or maybe even Russia someday if they do not shift back to a more democratic and tolerant society on the government’s end.
