@ftumschk Thankfully Ukrainian government has confirmed that all homes damaged or destroyed in the war will be rebuilt or upgraded using volunteer work, donations and the international relief funds. Of course it can’t bring back everything, but it does mean that eventually the country will be able to rebuild and be possibly better than it was before. It’s this belief in the future that will help to keep people going.

Great job here indeed. I just hope they were able to perform mop-up operations after this to collect those that were left rather than just going from place to place. Bloody great targeting hear from Ukrainian artillery. The drone probably helped a lot with this.

It is very much a mixed bag among the Russians. There are the ones who don’t want to fight and surrender eventually, then there are those that don’t want to do it but are forced to anyway simply through the lack of self will to fight against the majority. Be at the whole unit for that unit itself being complicit. We’ve seen some actually scroll messages of apology afterwards on the buildings or rooms they have been in, but no guarantee that they are with genuine feeling or if they are being sarcastic. Then there are those that actually believe everything they are told and willingly kill whoever they are targeting without regret and lay down all of their training and weapons to kill whoever they are told to look out for. And then of course, there are the final lot. Those who actually enjoy what they are doing because they will benefit from it, either through killing or raping individuals or stealing appliances to use back home in any way they wish and like what they are doing because they see Ukraine as lesser than them due to the rhetoric they have been raised with and are so poor they are willing to do anything. Unfortunately, both good and bad men die in war. A bullet very rarely discriminates when you do not know the mindset of the person you’re firing out. At the end of the day, when this was over, we still very rarely know how many of the good versus bad people on the Russian side have survived.

@InterWebGuy99 That’s that human side we don’t usually always experience or one we want to acknowledge. We are human, which means we need to own both the good and bad side of ourselves. It’s easy to enjoy it here, when we see them as just ants on the ground, which scale wise in terms of the whole planet we really are. But of course when we zoom in, we see them as actual people who are running for their lives against massive explosions with noise and hell all around. Doesn’t change the fact that they are the enemy here, and only after the war is over will they be truly judged, but doesn’t change the fact that it is still very different when viewing-above versus down on the ground.

@iainmrodgers9991 Makes sense, but of course as we’ve seen, the building is still standing. They are just hollowed out shells now. Burning the buildings won’t stop people from fighting.

That was definitely some good combination of artillery strikes with drones to assist in targeting and spotting. Much better than the Russians so far. They just kept knocking them every time they moved from one location to the next.

@demonprinces17 So far there have been some howitzers delivered, but nowhere near enough. The total defensive line is many hundreds of miles long, well the US is shipping only about 100 of them. Ukraine is hundreds and hundreds of them, plus tanks and mini fighter jets and long-range missiles. So far they’ve only received one of those things and they aren’t even modern tanks (T-72s from Poland). We critically need to get more of this equipment to them ASAP, not just armoured vehicles and short range missiles.

@riskyron1416 That is very true. Of course the US has only sent about 100 of these so far, and unfortunately the Ukrainian defence line is many hundreds of miles long. Basically, with the amount the US is Saint so far, you could evenly spaced them all out and you would never see one of these howitzers again very easily unless it was being filmed directly. It is good to have been sent, but unless they are more together in one unit in the most dangerous area to help push back the Russians, they aren’t still going to make a huge difference. We are definitely going to have to work on all sending more of the 155mm howitzers, Along with modern thanks and most certainly some more modern fighter jets. At the very least fourth generation fighters rather than old Soviet era ones. Considering the generational gap, the pilots could learn to fly them in what is calculated to be about four weeks. We need to stop this being such a contested issue and finally get on with it ASAP.
