If it is true then we really do have no other option at this point but to actually physically get involved. Or at least send some ‘proper’ offensive weaponry. We can’t just keep hoping that this is going to not get any worse. Zelensky and other Ukrainian civilians and members of the military from the highest to the lowest of said this is just going to get worse in the next phase of the fight, and this is a clear indication of that. We can’t just keep trickling in one-off supply deliveries and hope it will be enough. We need to keep up a steady stream of offensive weapons into the country if this is actually going to work. Let alone actual advanced tanks rather than Soviet-era ones and proper MiG-29s if they are to have a chance to get the orcs out fast enough.

It is also in NATO’s best interest to actually get this war done and over with rather than being attracted out. It’s not just in Ukraine’s interest. Especially as Ukraine has literally been called at the breadbasket of Europe. There have been many videos over recent days that highlighted the fact that if the country can’t get its export out, then many thousands upon thousands of people could starve around the planet and that will cause far more of a greater financial situation than any military supplies to Ukraine. We can’t just keep being scared on the sidelines over Putin‘s threat of nuclear weapons. If he was going to use then he would’ve done it as soon as the first anti-tank guided missiles had arrived. Ironically in this case for Putin, size doesn’t matter.

@tava7 I can definitely believe that. After all who is going to stop them in Russia if they did report that. The media works for the government in Russia after all.

Well we should’ve been involved from ‘day one’ so if anything this will be a very unfortunate long time coming. I just hope that if the report comes out that this has been indeed happening then we will finally give Ukraine the actual large-scale offensive weapons it needs. No more just armour and anti-tank/aircraft and sea weapons. We are sending over 100 armoured personnel vehicles from the UK but for some reason appallingly is reported that the guns will be removed. Which makes no bloody sense as if we are sending rocket launchers then surely we can allow them to have the ‘guns attached’ to vehicles. ‘Guns sold separately’. That’s just an absolute ass move. They need modern tanks which they easily could’ve trained on in a crash course by now and then MiG-29s they’ve been asking for since week one. It’s time for the UK, Germany and Poland to step up here and do what is right.

Honestly I do actually use a mix of western and Ukrainian social media along with reports and video footage from the Russian side that the Kremlin authorises in order to get a good balance of what seems to be true and not. And it does seem like Ukraine is definitely putting out a lot lot more truthful information than the Kremlin is authorising. Video splicing and editing is usually a good giveaway from the Russian side.
