@Hatt Mancock exactly. We all need to stand together. The public, the essential workers and the police. We cannot let these people divide us when we all need to be working together.

It’s exactly that. If I was her I wouldn’t want any of this to be going on. It seems that these people are just wanting to rally up for something that is completely different to what has actually happened. She died thanks to a murder by a fellow human being, not an instance of police brutality. But of course these people don’t want to hear it. This is insulting to her memory.

@royalzak2670 Yeah, it’s so much easier for these people to come after the police when they are all wearing almost identical uniforms and you can label everyone is the same. That makes these people just as bad as the few police they claim to heat in the first place. They seem to forget that we are not the same country as America. Although with the amount of American media we constantly absorb we might as well halfway be there already.😔

Couldn’t agree more. These people have brought it on themselves. We never asked them to do this and I’m pretty sure neither would Sarah if she was still alive. This is just a hijacking of a separate situation (a policemen murdering someone and police brutality in general are two different things) for their own agenda and it’s only putting more peoples lives at risk on all sides, when during this pandemic there should really be no signs at all.

Oh god no not more of these fricking idiots. I can’t believe there are more protests going on. The video footage from the bandstand vigil has already proven that the police were the ones in the right here and the people who were allegedly supposed to only be attending the vigil just kept riling up more and more until the police had no choice. It’s easy to compile a bunch of video footage to make it seem like the police acted quickly to try and bash apart a crowd, but when you actually look at the timestamps it’s clear (as shown on sky news) that the police gave the public a huge amount of time to actually listen to their words and space out, they even spoke to them originally in very polite terms, but the people didn’t do any of this and seemed to ignore them in that horrible way we’ve all had to get used to. They just kept getting more and more riled up in the hysteria of the moment. The police are the ones in the right here, not the people attending these events. If you want to do this correctly, under the current lockdown restrictions, only have a few people attending and make sure each one of them is standing 2 meters apart and no rallying things up. THAT’S IT.
