This is terrible to see, but we all saw it coming in the end. It was inevitable after they were so comfortable with lifting the lockdown so quickly and allowing festivals and other mass gatherings like those for the upcoming elections so casually. Really hope now they have learned from this. We’ve had some scenes like this in Britain to, but at least our people were told more strongly not to and they did so in much smaller numbers. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like if it had ended up being the same as India. My thoughts and best wishes go out to the people of India.🇬🇧
