Putting it all into perspective like this, I guess it really does explain why so many people are unhappy. I knew that many mistakes have been made, but I hadn’t actually put it all together like this until now to realise just how bad it was. I back Boris, even now, but it still feels insane that this many problems still happened under his leadership. I feel most of all though, that I just can’t picture anyone else being prime minister. You need someone to truly be iconic who can bring the country together and leaders, and presently there doesn’t appear to be anyone else in parliament who is capable of doing so. We need to be unified and strong right now in the face of our economic situation, our transition away from carbon fuels which is intrinsically linked to the war in Ukraine. We don’t have time for a leadership contest right now when Britain needs to be showing its strong support with a leader who is also back in Ukraine, and any change to that right now could be dire. Unfortunately, despite all his strength, it unfortunately looks like this is the final nail in the coffin for Boris‘s leadership, which truly breaks my heart. All I want to know is, what could’ve been done differently. What could’ve been done to make a nation happy which is always disappointed no matter what decision a prime minister makes.

After everything that has happened, and apparently his speech today, it feels like that is true. It breaks my heart as I do still work for us as he is the only real viable leader right now who can actually be an iconic face to bring the country together with everything that is going on right now. We need a unified front and somebody is actually going to help us transition away from carbon fuels while they are becoming ever more expensive and the current war in Ukraine. Boris back to Ukraine intrinsically and Ukraine thank him for that many times, sitting now see him going is truly heartbreaking. We need another prime minister, but I just feel personally that we don’t have time for that right now. It’s just as simple as that really. All I can say is, who on earth else out there can actually step up to do what he wanted and actually achieve it.

For that final statement, I really can’t picture it. Boris has been iconic for the very moment he appeared in the public eye, and with him gone, there is just nobody else I can see in the Tory party who can be iconic enough with the actual drive to get things done and pull the country together. For all his flaws, we need a leader right now who can allow us to continue our transition during these hard times and actually show support as well to Ukraine. We may need another prime minister from the Tory party, but we don’t have time for an election when we need more of the status quo until the bumpy stage is over. Right now, it doesn’t seem likely. So right now, I have no idea what is going to happen, except for the fact that this is a big blow to the party I support.
