The staff are massively unprepared for the possibilities that could have arisen last night. They really should’ve been more police on the scene. It just seems obvious. As usual though the mounted police on horseback did a great job with keeping the crowd back there. They always do a splendid job in their courage and dignity. Both the officers and the horses. Full support to them.

That’s definitely true I think. It’s all down to the the hive motion activity of a group that edges you on. On your own you’d never have the confidence to do such a thing through the usual public worry about standing out. I’m sure a lot of people are going to look back on it now and feel absolutely humiliated for months or even years to come.

Well that’s not entirely true. We saw terrible scenes of people protesting about the wearing of facemasks and lock down several times which continued to humiliate the nation spouting nonsense when they should’ve stayed indoors.

Absolutely. I really loved the actual game and everything was done right for the opening ceremony and the displays. It was just the fans who ruined it.

@JollyOliW I’m not really into football and even I agree. Far too many people dropping to the ground claiming to be injured when clearly they’re not. You don’t get that in rugby. And in the end those pathetic ridiculous penalty kicks ended it all. This whole thing just edged the drunken fans on.
