  1. Okay, that is a very good idea. I can totally understand though the Queen wanting the name to be Prince Philip though considering that it’s quite in line with the sort of thinking that Queen Victoria had with Prince Albert when he passed away. Although indeed naming a cruiser class after him would be a cool idea as well. Imagine if we had that though alongside three aircraft carriers that all had the names of the top three most senior Royal officials. WICKED😲👌🏼

The British public, and I’m sure a lot of members of the Royal Family have been wanting there to be another royal yacht for a long time now since HMS Britannia was decommissioned. A truly 21st-century combination of royalty, tradition and the new all in one. Especially with it honouring Prince Philip. I’m sure he would’ve loved this. It will be a great thing to travel aboard for the royal family, foreign visits and an ambassador to the rest of the world.😎 🇬🇧

  5. Oh really? So did I!?😯😔 that is a shame. I thought she was indeed still a museum piece or at the very least still owned by the family but at permanent mooring. If they gave her a good modern upgrade I bet they could totally combine her with hybrid engines and solar panels on the roof to supplement some power, to be in line more with Prince Philip‘s ethos.
