Glad to see this’s happening. A free church for Ukraine. i’m not religious, but still glad to see this’s happening.
42
In just five years they want to be able to remove half of this. I wish them the best of luck. Don’t need to do some major expansion work though. Keep us up-to-date on all your happenings.
36
Well done Georgia. Bravooo. From Britain, even though I’m glad we’re no longer in the EU, I do believe that being in the EU is the best thing for Georgia and the best of luck in getting in.
29
I am soooo glad he has actually said this. Takes a lot of guts to take this step. 👍🏼 The UK needs to be ready to do the same, and should’ve been from the beginning of this. We’ve AAALL got a lot of work to do.
28
Really glad Cameron has said and is sticking by this now.👏🏻
25
With respect, probably not. But hopefully they will still be alive.
23
We desperately need to be like this in the UK. Even ‘half as good as this’ would still be a vast improvement.
19
Exactly. Japan is doing this once again in the wrong direction.
16
@war_Shorts71 Zelensky he’s a hero not a problem. He is showing what aaaall European leaders should be doing right now. But yes, it is NATO‘s fault for not having the guts to do what is right in the first place.
15
Really is such absolutely great news. Apparently the Leopard 2 tanks now, as of writing this message, have arrived from two countries with the rest soon to follow. They are coming in thick and fast now, showing that Ukraine’s allies are committing to their promise. Challenger 2 tanks have now also started to arrive yesterday in Ukraine now that the first round of cruise have finished training in the UK and Germany. These are definitely going to make a difference.
13
This sounds to me like a great day from Mexico. Congratulations everyone. Love and support from your friends here in Great Britain.👏🏻
13
The country has not been destroyed, and it is still a beautiful one. It is being horrifically damaged but it will continue to fight and will definitely win and rise from the ashes to be better than it was before.
12
Exactly. They were awarded a year ago that this was going to happen and they knew Ukraine wasn’t going to allow the gas to keep flowing through and allow more money to line Russia’s pockets. If they didn’t plan for this, then it is their own fault sadly.
10
This is absolutely brilliant news. Finally, Venice can actually have a chance to recover after the wonderful glimpse at a brighter future during lockdown. All we need to do now is make sure the rest of the cruise ships are eventually banned as well. AND SOONER RATHER THAN LATTER. If the people want to be able to come in en masse, they will have to walk it.
9
This needs to be done NOW.
9
Here here. This’s not Ukraine’s fault here.
8
Here here. Proper education, balanced fair politics and universal healthcare coming your way.👏🏻
8
@Mosern1977 That is assuming of course that they actually managed to get everyone off before that even happened. And I veeeery much doubt they got anyone off before the missiles even hit. Some sailing orcs definitely died in this.
8
It seems they weren’t able to get back to the steelworks where the rest of the forces were holding on. Some force is still holding on there and I just hope they can make it out of there alive.
7
Be safe chaps. Both civilians and fighters. We in Britain are not looking away and we are paying attention every day. We truly hope that all of our military aid, if not the tanks, will make it to Bakhmut as soon as possible to help with the spring offensive when and where it happens to help push the Russians back from the city area.
7
They definitely all need to be on their gard as best they possible can for whatever might happen before or on the 9th of May. These lads are all doing an incredible job and we need to get everything they can possible used to the front lines ASAP. We need to speed this up now from the inside while we still can.
7
Absolutely. The ship is probably illegal after all.
6
@tomhenry897 oh definitely. I mean, we don’t want them to reduce shell manufacturing quality down to that of what the Russians did, but the way they do it at this French facility, and possibly close to how we do it in the UK as well, is way too perfectionist to match the rate needed in a realistic nation on nation war. We need to go back to more simple techniques in some areas to speed it up for the time being.
6
This is very good reporting here. These people are really doing the best they can to get the grain to where it is needed, in spite of slow bureaucracy. This clearly shows it needs to be sped up and I hope this will act as a bit of a wake-up call for some but they are still not doing enough on their end to make it so. Love the chap at the end. “Say hi to Macron to us from us, tell him to send tanks.” Here here. Slava Ukraine

Considering 25 is still much higher than past military drafts in bygone days during national defence in many countries, including here in the UK and over in the US in WW2, this doesn’t seem like much of a big deal really. 25 feels like an entirely reasonable age to impose conscription. Or even 22 really.
5
@blockx8607 Yeah that seems very likely, as from what I saw of this, all of these people seem to be very much of the very old generation and not too many of them. Makes sense that a lot of the young people and those who actually see cents have already long since evacuated.
5
Here here 👏🏻

I really hope we get updates in the coming hours. Mariupol’ so defenders are on their last legs so I think the whole country and the rest of the world needs this news. Stay strong chaps and NEVER GIVE UP.🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦💪🏼
4
@maigepresents5840 bloooody hell.😓. Get Looost.
4
Okay, from what I’ve seen of the manufacturing process in the UK, and then the larger scale over in the US, am I the only one who thinks that the French technique for manufacturing the 155 mm shells is a little bit TOO perfectionist? It feels very, FRENCH, in the way they are doing it. A little bit too over the top. No wonder they only produce 600 in a week. They definitely need to be ramping up production multiple times over. Probably are going to need at least two additional factories. Still though, at least they are committed to their work and trying their best. Now it’s just up to the government and the construction workers, let alone the head manufacturers to massively expand and speed up.
4
This is all Putin‘s fault, but also in many ways our own fault outside of Ukraine for a lack of true commitment to giving Ukraine the weapons they need. True proper offensive weapons, not just anti-tank missiles. Let alone actually doing what is right and sending in troops. The risks are worth it at this point and were so from week one.
4
It’s so sad that this is how many polish people feel, considering how much Ukrainian people have actually given to the polish economy and need help right now. How on earth can their sympathy stretch so shortly?!
3
@ryanwalters6184 What nonsense. He’s the lead engineer and thinker for SpaceX as well as Tesla. You clearly sadly haven’t done your research.
3
I am, but for different reasons. Mainly there lack of investment in the own armed forces.
3
I know right, I couldn’t agree more. I really think Poland isn’t aware in the majority of how good they actually have it right now with this.
3
We definitely need to be a part of this here in Britain. Boycott American physical goods. Thankfully, we aren’t short of options there.
3
No, he is turning into a hell hole.
3
Here here. William Britain is continuing to view it very closely and wish to help in however we can if I governments refused to act in any meaningful way.
3
You are absolutely right. It’s not nice, but this is war. In times like these, you have to be prepared to make sacrifices you wouldn’t do in peacetime. If a citizen isn’t willing to do this or do anything else to help, then they shouldn’t even be their country they claim to love in the first place.
3
I can definitely imagine that will be their next threat they will try follow through with. This is why we in Europe need to come up with our own alternative and get it up there STAT. I know we are working on one here in Britain, but there’s been very little news as to its current development and execution since last year’s latest news.
3
We will
3
That’s kinda sad to hear.
3
Honestly it’s a pretty good idea. Only problem is that there’s no way they’ll be able to get that many nets made that were big enough or simply have enough people to stitch them together and put them between all the most likely targets in time. by the time that kind of set up was completed, the drones most likely wouldn’t be a problem anymore to begin with. It is a good shout out though, as using nets to catch these drones is actually a proven technique. Not least because using a big white net is actually used during the development and training phase of these particular drones as that’s how they collect them when they go in for their kamikaze attacks. They have to make sure they can get them back intact, so they use a big wide net and crash the drones into them, so they can get them back unharmed. Honestly, considering they aren’t very fast despite their range, actually ‘dropping a net on top of them’ could be a good solution instead. perhaps done by another drone!

What on earth are we waiting for now. It seriously feels like our politicians wouldn’t even reactive their own mother was being raped by Putin to help these people. We are far too preoccupied on the idea of him nuking us when that would do nothing for Putin whatsoever and would only further damage him in the long run in one way or another. These people are desperate for help and rightly feel that they have been abandoned by the West and there own forces. Many soldiers are grateful for the supplies they’ve gotten, but with Mariupol surround like this and no one willing to take the risk to go in and save them when this would’ve been easily done by any forces in WWII when they knew what was important, this is rightly viewed as a betrayal of Ukraine and the Azov battalion who have done nothing but commit themselves to defending their land with every fibre of their bodies.
3
Stay strong Ukraine. We believe in you.🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦
3
Wish him and every single one of his compatriots from Ukraine and abroad the very best of luck and all of our wishes for success.
3
It is absolutely awesome. It is VERY WELL DONE. It seems like this video is getting a lot of attention already, and it's only been out for a day. I very good sign indeed, about the very baaaad things that re happening to the planet we live on and are doing hardly anything about it.
2
It’s certainly a very perfectionist job. Unfortunately, when there is very slow demand, it’s easy to be stuck into a routine of doing things a certain way. They need to be able to eventually switch over, despite how hard it will be, to more of a manufacturing production line like that of bullets (or WW2 way for shells) in order to actually make the amounts needed. Right now we do need quality, but more so quantity, and that just isn’t what they seem to be able to provide at this French manufacturer. The US one is better, but they still too need to massively expand by at least three times in order to keep up anywhere near demand.
2
It’s good to hear at least as well that Ukrainian force to being able to regain some territory around the town of New York. It was very sad to hear that one was to fall as well. What on earth though are Romania and Latvia going to do about Russia breaching their airspace. Nothing that’s what. 😔
2
Well THAT’S a weird comparison.
