  1. That it, this’s basically the last straw now. If Rishi and the bad Tory party members keep this up, ‘I am going to vote for Labour FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER’ if it means stopping this insanity. We need to be CRUSHING oil and gas licences, NOT HANDING OUT HUNDREDS MORE😡. Recent moves and policies announced by Tory party MPs all over the place over the last few days have sounded like they are completely going on the march against anything to lower our carbon footprint. I don’t know why they are doing this apart from either genuine insanity or slight evil they think they can now show, like that in the US as well. Im 27yo and I’ve been a Tory party supporter all my life really, as I don’t agree with the other policies of labour, but with the way the Tory party has been going about actually implementing green policies, versus those announced for the past 2+ years now by labour, I really do believe now I am ready to make the leap and vote for them for the first time. At the end of the day, the environment (sorry if some people here can’t accept this fact) is more important than basically any other policy in the end. I’ve just got to hope that it will be a domino effect and the Tory party will implement even more strict green policies that they actually do commit to in order to bring people back to their side in the distant future after a most likely Labour win this next election. Boy, never thought I’d say that until now.

  2. Oh god you sound sooo ridiculous right now. We need to STOP oil and gas, NOT MORE OF IT. The moves by the Tory party (my party) over the last few days have sounds like absolute INSANITY. WTF is going oooooon. I honestly think I’m going to vote for Labour for the first time ever very soon.

  3. 50% of our own energy created in the UK and surrounding waters goes abroad anyway, so it’s not a case of supplies here. They are just doing it to shore up the amount of money they believe they’re going to lose during the green revolution, and they are doing everything they can to fight it by using the excuse of carbon capture as a partial cover. This license announcement is an absolute disaster that won’t change anything for the British types payers. Especially by the time the stuff is supposed to be shut down anyway. WE NEED TO STOP THIS NO MATTER WHAT.
