@oracle8589 Here here. That’s why this one truly will be the final one. It’s ridiculous that this is even happening, but once it does happen and they lose and the Scottish people see sense to vote no again, if the SNP does try and bring it up again for a third, they will be out on their asses. After that, without this constant fear hanging over peoples heads about never-ending referendums, we can focus on actually making Scotland better again, as a part of the UK as it should be.

@KeithRingo It’s a little bit different mate, considering this is literally involving millions of people with mixed opinions that can change over decades, rather than literally just one person with their own personal agenda.

Well, perhaps some in England, but I don’t know a single person around here in England personally that actually support Scottish independence. Please don’t spelt unilateral stuff like that on England’s behalf when you have no right to do so. Scotland is not getting its independence. It’s bullshit and nither side needs it or wants it as a majority right now. The sooner this been put to rest AGAIN for the last time, the better.

@PRCOM Yeah Plus one of the highest drug overdose problems in Europe and I very much doubt independence would stop that at all. If anything it would most likely exacerbated due to stress and less financial help.

Yeah, truly undemocratic to say the least that she and the party keep calling for this. I can only imagine what would happen if they ended up saying they would call for another one eventually after they lose this one as well. I can only hope after that happens, it would finally be the end of the SNP.

Let us hope they see sense once again and vote it down. Once this happens, it can finally be put out of the way once and for all and we can actually focus on the whole of the UK becoming greater again, rather than the SNP just blaming everything that they get wrong on Westminster.

Thank you for saying so. All the love from all of us down south. And I couldn’t agree more. It’s the worst possible time for her to be bringing up an independence referendum and she knows it. Not just because it’s bad timing and she’s trying to slip it in while everyone else is focused on the impact of sanctions, fuel and the war in Ukraine, but I won’t be surprised if she’s trying to abuse it just to point fingers and say it’s all England’s fault to try and win a referendum. Basically less so bad timing and more smart evil timing. Very heartbreaking to say the least, but there is a chance that the courts will still shoot her desire down here. I truly wish us in England could have a say on the independence referendum as well, considering it also impacts us, but understand that it’s not likely to happen. I hope everyone in Scotland realises once again just as in 2014 the importance and severity of such a decision and shoot down this vote once again.
