@andrewsuryali8540 Thanks for that explanation. Definitely makes sense for the blades to be rigid under the area they operate and I guess it makes sense for them to be so considering there are two sets of them now to compensate for that affect.

I absolutely agree. I mean, the defiant will definitely get a contract somewhere else seeing as it’s the completed design, but the US Army definitely can’t afford to go without one or the other. They are both able to warfare and defence as well as functionality. Both have their abilities and the US Army can’t go without one or the other. They need both, even if one is manufactured more than the other.

That’s awesome. Why do you think then it lost out to the Valor? also, it’s a bit odd. They are showing this promotion here still days after having lost out to the competition. Doesn’t really make much sense really, unless they are still hoping they can win. Do you think they still have a chance? I mean, it’s obvious this helicopter isn’t just going to be relegated to the history books considering it’s a completed manufacturable design, but don’t want to have to wait decades for it to happen.

Really do feel that they need to be more information flushed out as to exactly why they chose one and not the other. The DefiantX Feels like a really awesome design that might be an even better choice really so we need a better explanation for the public. I’m from the UK, so I know this doesn’t really affect us, but we can’t afford for design like this to be lost again when it feels more like the actual future we need in the UK would definitely be interested in buying it. That are developing our own version of it. Having just two bladed engines does make sense for conventional purposes, but honestly, it still feels like the defiance is a better choice for speed as well as area of functionality, considering it has a smaller cross area to work in. I hope the US at least eventually choose to manufacture both of them at a later date or a different branch will pick it up.

@andrewsuryali8540 Oh ok, so is this a changed design we are seeing here in this video? Or are they planning on releasing new changes in the coming 100 days?

Exactly. I’m from the UK, but I still want to know why the US military decided to go with Bell over the defiant X design. it just seems like the more logical choice really, but at the very least they should go for both. At the end of day though, for actual functioning area, manoeuverability, speed, and efficiency, it seems that they should go for the DefiantX
