I know right. They just keep going and going no matter what. The Ukrainian and volunteer fighters in Mariupol are just incredible.

The forces in Mariupol are doing the most incredible work I think any of us have seen since the Battle of Stalingrad. Except this time instead of two cruel forces it actually is this time good versus evil. We need them to hold on for as long as possible, until the offensive can begin.

@derricklarsen2919 Yeah it really makes sense to do so. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are trying to keep a few of their spare piece of equipment they’ve been able to nab from the Russians actually in the tunnels. Makes sense rather than keeping them in the open where they could be spotted by a drone. Hope they can hang on for as long as possible and steal as much as they can to fight back.

Yeah i’m really surprised this wasn’t mentioned absolutely anywhere else on the regular news channels. He said he would have it done within a week and he delivered on that promise. I just hope now that the process will be sped up so membership won’t have to wait until July. This is critical.

Actually there are believed to be about one or two other locations within the city that are still within Ukrainian control.

@styleslv8800 That is very true. If some civilians are still in there and able to get water than they could sneak some supplies through. Especially if any of them have been given information or perhaps previously have the location of the tunnel networks.

@lyns8062 Very true indeed. Many times now the Russians have given the option to surrender, claiming to somehow be lenient, but many times it has simply been that they themselves are taking too much of a hit and they simply want to try and play this card in order to essentially trick the enemy into letting their guard down, thus slowing the impact on their own forces. When it comes to the Russians, it is best usually never to surrender to them, as you never know what your fate might be.

Do you actually have a link for this? I don’t believe it has actually fallen yet. That was probably from one of the neighbouring factories. Russia usually likes to spin it like that anyway.

They are not being told to fight to the end and in fact probably under a week ago or so several dozen had to surrender from a different area (at least one British volunteer who has worked with the Ukrainian forces for at least 3 years now was amount them) and no one is blaming them for that. Unlike the Russians this is not being done by force by Ukrainian leaders.

It’s because the Russians have a choice, they had a choice not to kill all the soldiers, but the Russians have made it clear that they want to kill every last remaining soldier and humiliate those that are still alive. It is admirable that they intend to fight on till the end, but the Russians aren’t giving them a choice, so they have to keep fighting.

Mainly because what kind of the same country would ever want peace with Russia now. I say if you want peace with Russia as it is now then you are a bloody traitor to the rest of the world.
