  1. Won’t be a real dinosaur at all though. It’ll just have some of their distinct genetic traits. I still have hope that we’ll be able to bring back a ‘genuine genetic dinosaur’ in all its glory someday from another institution. They’ve already been able to find genuine small pieces of T-rex flesh in their bones in recent years, ‘after in fact this very video was made’. So no surprise he had doubts at the time. The DNA might be damaged, naturally, but with modern day technology, if we’re able to find enough individual pieces, we should be able to splice them together in order to create a complete DNA strain. So long as the pieces are successfully able to stay together and be healthy, all we’ll need next is a functioning womb or egg to incubate it in.
