  2. I totally agree. I’m British and tried learning German a few years ago before college, but as you can imagine things quickly got in the way of me learning more beyond the basics. Haven’t forgotten what I learned though and definitely want to start up again to get to at least a healthy level of the language to help with travel. it really goes to show how similar the language is to ours.

  4. Oh, you are totally right there. The two world wars really buggered the whole thing up. Thankfully, I do believe we are on the mending and now.
