@elvinshoolbraid84 It most likely, even in the medium to relatively distant future it would be still a lot of money to send someone all the way back to earth so they can retire there, and there’s no guarantee, living on a more harsh world like Mars, that anyone would have enough money to afford a trip there. Plus, if you’d spent most of your life on Mars, let alone being born there, there’s a very good chance your body would not be able to cope with the journey to and actually being on the planet surface.
