  4. It has been very upsetting to see the lack of support for sending any large-scale military hardware ASAP to Ukraine. We know plenty of guns and ammunition have been sent from the states, but even though Biden has said they would be sending over more of the big-ticket items that I needed to protect the cities and people, we haven’t actually seen any evidence of them arriving yet. This desperately needs to change as when you’re a really trying to pick up the slack as best we can without compromising our own orders. Hope this will be changing in the coming days. We still stand with the people of your country and hope you can defeat the military to restore true democratic governance to your land.   12. OMG this is absolutely brilliant work. It’s great to see workspaces like this being converted for such efficient work like this. I’m at university and we have similar work spaces like this and could easily imagine them also being converted to making the same things (including stickers, wink). Hope the metal bulletproof vest plates will be effective enough for any lack of polyethylene or Kevlar vests available. We will try and make sure more arrive ASAP. Absolutely love the virgin Mary holding an NLAW sticker at the end. Now that is an absolutely brilliant custom job that I’d want to buy.

  13. That’s why this equipment needs to go to crane ASAP rather than in two months time like everything seems to take. Plus they need enough spare rockets otherwise they’ll just become transport vehicles and nothing else. Ukraine needs at least 100 of each of these rocket launches rather than a total of 10. They may be advanced but although they are quality, quantity is also important.

  15. I'm just glad him and the rest of the fighters have been doing the very best they can to keep the people alive under the circumstances whilst also fighting. They will most likely still not surrender, but they're still trying to get the people out when it is safe. It makes sense they have held out until now so they know the civilians will be actually taken to where they want to go rather than just shipped to Russian held areas like with everyone else.

  17. I was wondering the same thing. It really is a case of desperate times call for desperate measures I guess. It’s better that than nothing. So long as of course there isn’t a case of terrible fragmentation. In which case they might just be better off without that extra weight.

  18. Definitely based on what we’ve seen here, the building Russia head really didn’t have any equipment inside. There’s no way anyone could hide that. Although if Ukraine did choose to just use this vehicle repair yard they would have every right to do so. Everything is a legitimate hiding place now, so long as the billions are there as well unless they are seeking shelter. We neeeed to get these long-range rocket launchers to crane ASAP. We can’t wait two months for this. They need to be in Ukraine by the beginning of July at the latest.

  19. Amazingly, this is actually a design I would really like to see come about in the future. We all need to do our bit. And cutting aviation pollution is definitely one of them. Plus, wouldn’t it be pretty cool to see one of these flying overhead someday.

  20. Yes thankfully a lot of them are high and drones do you have returned functions in case the GPS does get knocked out. Of course the biggest thing right now is any ones that just simply block out right radio waves that make drone struggle to work in some areas. Thankfully we haven’t heard too much about that yet. And as you said, if Ukrainian troops I want to move around they could still use Google Maps and iOS maps that don’t require the GPS system. Just need to make sure their phones can still get a 3G/4G/5G signal. Of course that is a big ask, but it does help that Ukraine is quite flat in some areas so long range mobile transmissions for the signals should still be able to reach them.

The soldiers are doing the very best they can for the children, rest of the civilians and wounded as best they can under these incredibly difficult conditions, and in the media they continue to receive nothing but judgement based on some of the regiments bygone past (which is mainly now down to Russian propaganda that Putin himself peddled for the excuse of this war in the first place) from many years ago and no sign of new support and supplies in sight.They are doing the most incredible job and we are still just sitting here and watching. We’ve got to hope that the talks by the UN somehow to Russia and Ukraine can result in some sort of new civilian corridor for the wounded and the cities residents to evacuate leaving the soldiers to fully focus all of their efforts on the defence of their position in the city. We need to do this ourselves whether we like it or not. We cannot just stand by and watch them suffer like this anymore.To all of those in Mariupol, please hang on as best you can. Slava Ukraine 🇬🇧🇺🇦

  25. We know that they must be doing it covertly as well as with public broadcast like this both in and outside of Mariupol. Of course we are not privy to these communications for obvious reasons, but it would be good to know that these guys are still being communicated with with messages from the outside world to know that they are truly not forgotten.

  29. I truly hope every day that people like her along with all of the people from the Azov battalion, Marines, police and volunteers can be recovered sooner rather than later. Either by being freed or through a prisoner exchange. We desperately need to get them back now before the worst happens. All of these people are heroes to the rest of Europe and we need them to be recovered. It is the least we can do for them.

  30. Well although I do believe these children are strong, they are having to be stronger than they ever should have to be, and trust me when I say that they are most definitely not without fear. Children are very good at disguising emotions sometimes just as much as adults are good at burying them. There is ‘obviously cause for worry’ as they are currently trapped in this area without any direct means of escape without some sort of new evacuation corridor. They are holding on as best they can but it cannot go on forever. If we don’t keep trying and then they will eventually die whether we like it or not. Them, the rest of the civilians as well as the soldiers and wounded are doing the best they can but they cannot hang on forever and critically need to have as many people evacuated as possible as well as new supplies dropped in as well as reinforcements so they can actually push outwards and hold back more of the Russians until the offensive can finally reach Mariupol and split the Russian forces in two.

  31.  @protonneutron9046  They would have to train on them but it would be easier to learn how to use another tank rather than an entirely new fighter jet. Considering how long the war has been going on now they could’ve easily by this point given a lot of them a crash course on how to use their tanks and had them over there already. You’ll be surprised how determined somebody is to learn when your country is on the line.

I mean, the US I remember (with news vids on youtube confirming this) did do a call for people to donate their bullets and or guns to their local police stations that were compatible and would be shipped to Ukraine. It only feels right really that the US government should next do another call to the public to do this again before then eventually doing a buyback, just to make sure what the total number will be. It would toooally work, and the US can get rid of some of its excess guns at the same time. Plus, it's saaafe to say that the US guns will be 'heavily more moded' than those you can get here in Europe, so are sure to be hugely helpful in the fight. There's really no harm it at least trying. In fact I'm really surprised this hasn't been done yet or even twice.

  34. I do hope this mean then at least that civilians can get out of Mariupol. Whether this means they can also set up a corridor for civilians and as well as soldiers who’re injured to get out of the area, we will just have to wait. I reeeeally hope so. We also critically need to actually somehow get more supplies to the Marines and Azov battalion ASAP. We can’t keep being cautious anymore. We have to take the risk and try and air-drop some supplies over the area coordinated by the forces on the ground.

  37. Well, to be fair. I do support all of our nations fallen heroes, including here where I am in Britain. But we cannot live in the past and think about the dead all the time, versus who we are and how we live. Our lives are with us all the time no matter what, so it makes total sense really to have a month for this rather than a single day. If we always thought about the dead and the past, how would we be able to live and enjoy the present!? Also, to be completely frank, even though both of our nations, as well as the rest of us around the world remember and respect our fallen soldiers of the present and the past, America honestly really does seem to overdo it and I think it’s a tiny bit included in America’s societal flag waving brainwashing, in order to keep certain actions towards the military at bay. Namely, actually start asking more questions, ask for more reasonable adjustments, and being more willing to accept that not everyone is great, and start fighting against the military industrial complex that is so non-diverse within the US system which is creating massive amounts of unfairness and overspending. yes, have a military industrial complex, but you need one that’s more diverse in order to keep the costs down which America has drastically lost over the past 30+ years.

Hehe 👌🏼 It’s shameful that my country the UK has just cut £1.3 billion pledge to do the same thing and in an AI development. It was supposed to be done by the government but they’ve just cut it. Think it was a policy that wasn’t announced by the new Labour government before they cut it. Should never have been cut. Absolutely horrific. We’re going to fall behind again.

  45. They've left as early as they could under the circumstances of the Russians constantly shelling and just taking everyone they can get back to their territory. This is the first time they've been able to get guaranties to the best they can that they'll be going back to Ukrainian held ground. What would you have wanted!?

It is now more guarantied by the UN and Red Cross rather than local authorities so they can actually make it back to the Ukrainian side, rather than just being shot at or shipped off to the Russian held side. I just hope they can get the wounded soldiers out too.

The Russians are still attacking them so why on earth do any of you think that they are using civilians to protect them when the Ukrainian fighters are doing everything they can to also keep them alive? They can't just let people go running out in case they get captured and interrogated let alone shot at. Plus the Russians just take everyone they can back to there territory so they had to wait so people would be able to get back to where they wanted to be in Ukrainian held territory. This is just plainly obvious.

  50. I totally agree with him too. I'm a British Tory and completely agree with him. What he said was a fact, not a suggestion that the US itself would implement a regime change. Of course it would be great if at least one of our countries did do this, but that's clearly not what he was saying in this speech and the fact that it has become the source of so much talk is just ridiculous.
