The soldiers are doing the very best they can for the children, rest of the civilians and wounded as best they can under these incredibly difficult conditions, and in the media they continue to receive nothing but judgement based on some of the regiments bygone past (which is mainly now down to Russian propaganda that Putin himself peddled for the excuse of this war in the first place) from many years ago and no sign of new support and supplies in sight.They are doing the most incredible job and we are still just sitting here and watching. We’ve got to hope that the talks by the UN somehow to Russia and Ukraine can result in some sort of new civilian corridor for the wounded and the cities residents to evacuate leaving the soldiers to fully focus all of their efforts on the defence of their position in the city. We need to do this ourselves whether we like it or not. We cannot just stand by and watch them suffer like this anymore.To all of those in Mariupol, please hang on as best you can. Slava Ukraine 🇬🇧🇺🇦

  2. Well although I do believe these children are strong, they are having to be stronger than they ever should have to be, and trust me when I say that they are most definitely not without fear. Children are very good at disguising emotions sometimes just as much as adults are good at burying them. There is ‘obviously cause for worry’ as they are currently trapped in this area without any direct means of escape without some sort of new evacuation corridor. They are holding on as best they can but it cannot go on forever. If we don’t keep trying and then they will eventually die whether we like it or not. Them, the rest of the civilians as well as the soldiers and wounded are doing the best they can but they cannot hang on forever and critically need to have as many people evacuated as possible as well as new supplies dropped in as well as reinforcements so they can actually push outwards and hold back more of the Russians until the offensive can finally reach Mariupol and split the Russian forces in two.

  3. Just about at least. You can survive longer without food then you can without water. Hoping that they most likely set up a water collection and filtering system for the area at least to keep them going. Also some civilians might be trying to sneak them food here and there at connected routes to the tunnel systems. Hope they can keep this up for as long as possible until new supplies and reinforcements can arrive. ✊🏼 WE NEED TO DO THIS NOW.
