  1. Thank you for this very detailed analysis. It deeply helps. The efforts by these guys in converting all the weapons captured is just absolutely brilliant. I’d imagine the reason why we haven’t seen too many of them on the front lines is just because the country is so big, that once they get out there fighting it is very unlikely to see them again.   2. Yeah exactly. I think this would still be very much essential both for training and the hardware, as British infantry units did have to actually use bayonets a few times during direct confrontations with enemy forces in Afghanistan.

  4. I wasn’t aware those guns were that bad? It feels like they should still be training on other guns when eventually other rifle types become more accessible!

  6. Wow, at only £20,000 per system that is a pretty great deal for this kind of kit. I'm stil, glad though we aren't charging Ukraine to use them. We need to give as many to them as they can carry.
