OMG I can’t believe it, my stepfather owned this pub before him as part of a group of four.😱😁 I used to visit every now and then with the house being literally just up the road and did a few paid shifts when available before the pub had to be sold. I completely forgot they sold to him. UNBELIEVABLE. Boy has the time flown. The pub really struggled to make money a couple years ago in the corporative, which was really sad as I think the ‘total’ investment all together by the four parties into the pub at the time was about £1 million. So I hope it is doing a lot better now in the new managements hands.👍🏼 It really is a wonderful Inn style pub restaurant with lovely rooms in such a picturesque location (worth checking out the rural walks in this area) only a short drive away from Salisbury city.
