  2. Well, this is quite a shocking result to say the least. I really didn’t see it coming from Taiwan. But at least it’s not a snap loss and she will remain as the nation’s leader, if not the party leader for the next two years. Let’s just hope that after that, the opposition will actually continue to do a good job of defending Taiwan’s independence. It’s also good to see that the actual reason why the DDP lost here is for the right reasons.
