I'm sooo relieved really that Japan has finally done this. Ther Japanese PM was right to go to Kyiv. I just wish he'd done so a looot sooner. On top of continued sanctions, I hope Japan can continue or 'resume' sending medical and military aid to Ukraine as we haven't heard a lot if any news about this since last year. That is aside from equipment to help with Ukraine's neverendingly damaged energy grid that they've been helpingh with, of which we very well may see Japanese as well as European personnel outside of the militaries to help. Anything from Japan with its still high quality manufacturing must be a great help. Also would be interesting to know if any Japanese ex-military personnel were able to join the volunteer Ukrainian Foreign Legion in the end, as I did hear I think that many were reused by the volunteer group when they tried to.
