Same goes for the rest of the world, and everybody who thinks he can just get off to another safe place for a holiday, or even just to emigrate, thinking the weather will be better somewhere else. Climate change is going to follow you wherever you go. You cannot run away from it. Our only option is to face it head on and try and fight it as best we can, no matter what some people might think I tried to stand in the way of change. I cannot imagine how long it’ll take to even rebuild half of what has been lost in Maui, let alone reforestation efforts. It must be done though.
