  8. This day has just been one of the craziest things ever since the start of the full-scale invasion itself. If Prigozhin has decided to turn back though, this is a bit of a surprise considering his motivation up to this point. Again, something must’ve happened in private communication channels that forced him to turn around. I’m thinking most likely it was the threat of absolute annihilation upon him and his men, rather than him caring about the bloodshed of his troops.

  9. I’ve got to say Boris Johnson really was unyielding in his statement here, and I hugely appreciate he has done this. He seems to be drawing a hard line on this more and more and I think it’s because he’s truly seen the reality of this just like when Covid first hit. I have a feeling he’s going to be really tough now right to the very end of it.   11. Well, honestly, I don’t know how to feel about this. I honestly thought he was going to go all the way. Apparently there was some fighting going on between Wagner and standard Russian military forces, so surely that means then that some blood has been spilled, unless they just mean basic fighting without any fatalities? Either way, I am a little bit surprised that he has linked here and has turned around. We sort of need this situation right now to help Ukraine, but it doesn’t look like it is going to happen after all. At least for now. It would be very interesting to know why this has happened behind closed doors. Something else is going on here that forced him to turn around and head back to the previous position.🤨🤔

I doubt the UN will do ‘anything’ as they still have yet to act in the ‘slightest’ against the military in Myanmar, so it will probably take them forever to do anything in Mozambique as well. We can only hope that perhaps a NATO force can come in and help for now.

None of our plant or animal life, let alone on nationwide infrastructure and houses can cope with that kind of great temperature variations for prolonged periods. It would cause widespread damage, billions in UK taxpayers and probably mass extinctions of many plant types and native animal species. We need to lower our carbon footprint as much as possible in the time we still have in order to try and lower the damage this will cause to us all.

Hope we will be able to see Volodymyr Zelenskyy tomorrow if he has time. If not, we won’t complain in the slightest. Right now he obviously has more important things to do, but the fact that he tries to take the time at all to address everyone like this is so highly appreciated and will go along way for his country. Where is a country really want to do far more than what our government is letting us do. Both from shipping military supplies to Ukraine on top of our bureaucracy just making it so hard for everyone trying to be housed here.

But at the same time, I am absolutely amazed and galvanised by the spirit and determination of everyone in Ukraine who is signing up to fight and are ready to do so even if they don’t have enough time to sign up as volunteers. The military hardware and clothing is just clearly flying off the shelves and is really uniting everyoneIn a common purpose, and it is clearly doing so for others from around the world as well. I am so relieved as well as proud that many people from Britain like here are heading out to join the Foreign Legion of Ukraine along with many of our allies and other nations from around the world. I cannot imagine how many have no travelled into the country, and it’s probably best we don’t exactly know in case Russia gets wind of it, but I can only imagine that it is enough that it will start to make enough of a difference when the time is right and Ukrainian forces are able to start pushing FORWARD.   62. Couldn’t agree more. This whole diversity target is embarrassing right from the start and it’s one of the reasons why we are in trouble in the first place. People don’t want to join an army if they feel like it is simply there to hit some sort of a diversity target, or they aren’t going to be treated right if the focus is always going to be on people who are from perhaps in minority or different sexual orientation background. It naturally puts off people who might be white or straight male very often. Not because they don’t tolerate or accept people of different ethnic or sexual backgrounds, but simply because of how the wider army as a whole will treat them for not being from that background or how the army’s efficiency or training standards will be affected as a result. We need to focus on increasing our numbers, and those need to be of the actual people who can do the work, no matter what their ethnicity or gender is. If it turns out to be more white men, then what does it matter.If they can do the work right, then all the better.

Even the volunteers are moving more skilfully and being more adaptive. Ukrainians will take better care of the Russian equipment and put it to better use than the orcs did.

They should be able to help with taking out more of the ships. According to the last update I think it said the Russians have now ‘lost seven large ships’. We desperately need to do something and do it ASAP. We can’t keep being scared anymore. We have the equipment they need. It’s just like he said. It’s just a case of making sure it can actually get to the required destination is intact. We wouldn’t have that much of a problem if it was MiG fighter jets. For now the best hope I can think of until the main Ukrainian offensive truly kicks off, is perhaps some back up of more forces from the Black Sea to push the Russians back a bit, if any of them can get round to there without being found by any Russian ships. Well I’m a university student at 26 years old and I honestly haven’t had access to TV in a few months, which means that only recently after watching Gogglebox I discovered a whole bunch of shows I haven’t heard a single thing about online, which might be quite telling as to their popularity beyond mainstream television. I’m usually always watching stuff that either pirated or straight from streaming services. When it comes to quality though, I can usually trust the BBC, some of ITV and a lot of Channel 4 to be a very good quality broadcasting, and if I see something that really stands out then I will usually jump on it and if I can get it live then all the better. It might be the divide inside me between how are used to watch television all the time and how since starting education away from home I’ve just heavily switched towards streaming services instead.

There are just so few available and maintenance is such a constant issue right now with the Tornadoes due to cuts when they shouldn’t be, that they just aren’t able to get out of basic simulators and being put on rotation ‘again and again’. As a result, many RAF pilots have actually quit when it was possible and gone straight into the private aviation sector. It sucks, but it’s for many the only option to ever get any satisfaction and finally get in the air. Not to mention the fact that being an airline pilot actually pays a lot more. IT SHOULD BE THE REVERSE. THIS’S SOOOO SCREWED UP. So the Royal Air Force is unfortunately screwing itself over here in more ways than one. Both thanks to bad management, bad policies and terrible government cuts driving all of it.

If we are going to give them the equipment they need, then we might as well just go into Ukraine and trust in our own hands to use the equipment we feel that Ukraine is somehow ‘not trustworthy’ to use. This is bloody insulting but it feels like we only have two options here. Either give the equipment to Ukraine, or go in ourselves in use it. Edit: After a little while after writing this, Ukraine finally got some of the valuable HIMAS it needs and British medium range rocket systems, with more on the way. By the way plenty of people have big hands like these and are well off. Many struggle just like any household to hold onto their properties and have to be careful with finances. I guess the crucial thing now then will be to make sure we can intercept these Iranian drones (which aren’t believed to be that powerful as haven’t seen much publicity viewable testing) as much as Russia has been trying to with DJI drones thanks to China supplying them the software information. Hope Ukraine is able to knock these Iranian drones out of the sky.   610. Yes this was a very good analysis. Ukrainians can have all of their supplies in a more centralised area and keep spreading out where it’s needed and supplies can keep travelling outwards to those sections rather than the Russians having to move everything up and down the border in order to do so at the same level. Basically Ukrainian troops only have to travel half a semicircle from the middle point whilst knowing they are protected from one side was Russians have to travel around the whole way from the outside where they can be picked off. The only issue right now is for the UK and fellow European nations to get equipment over the Polish and neighbouring borders in time and for it to travel into the middle of the country for it to be able to spread out from there. Ukraine may just be one of many European nations, but it’s also bigger than the size of Texas so unless things oh well organised fast, it can take quite a while for everything to get to where it is needed. Especially with the big heavy equipment that has to drive itself. We need to get moving down to the East and South of Ukraine fast fast FAST.

It could be that this was another country doing a black Ops mission to try and help Ukraine was keeping the helicopters and identified. Or possibly even that someone within Russia made it so that the defences were lowered or weren’t paying attention to perhaps allowed the Ukrainians through who is that wants the Ukrainians to be able to win this war or cause the collapse of the Russian Government.   648. I definitely do believe that the level of restrictions are being eased way too fast. I think that Boris Johnson should really consider follow the advice of doctors, and changing it so that we ‘still have to wear masks’ in shops and public transport. We’ve all got the masks now, it’s absolutely no trouble and makes a lot of sense. If other people in Asia can do it for decades and keep the level of infections down for other viruses, why can’t we. I think the Government also needs to be a little bit more clear on people returning to work in offices. Many people have already adjusted quite well to working full time or part time at home and many companies (such as Twitter) have already said they will allow their employees to continue this, so the Gov needs to be more clear on whether they want people to return to in person work, but will make sure that employers can’t force them to (if their current arrangement works), or whether the government is trying to do that themselves. WE CAN’T GO BACKWARDS

I do have a sneaking suspicion that the government doesn’t want to go to war, because they believe that the majority of those that would have to fight under the ‘current laws’ have to be citizens who have lived in the UK for a very long time and are on average properly integrated into the country (why lease would they choose to fight), or were actually born here. So an actual war of this scale predicted would deplete a huge amount of the ‘average British population’ by the end of it. It’s a rather disturbing thought on the government’s side of things, or even in real average population Britain, but it could well be true. It happened after the first and second world war after all. This third war could be the last nail in the coffin. So using those that want to come and live in the UK instead could be a solution to push this back and also get only some of the best coming in. The only problem is, there’s no guarantee they would at all be at the educational level or be physically strong enough to fight at British military standards if they’re only migrants and illegals.😓😞
