@musiclive3635 Not At all. The UK did used to have more regular winter seasons but they were never extreme like what the US is usually used to. None of our plant or animal life, let alone on nationwide infrastructure and houses can cope with that kind of great temperature variations for prolonged periods. It would cause widespread damage, billions in UK taxpayers and probably mass extinctions of many plant types and native animal species. We need to lower our carbon footprint as much as possible in the time we still have in order to try and lower the damage this will cause to us all.

And extra heat waves to kill off many plants and animals, hell yeah. Sorry, but any slim benefits are massively outweighed by the problems this will cause.
