  1. 陈乐水 Of courseThere is. It doesn’t matter if it is an internal affairs. What’s wrong is wrong. We are all humans and therefore anything being done to humans that is wrong is everyone’s business. Plus Hong Kong is a former British territory, and we proceeded over the negotiations that led to the one nation to systems policy. Therefore, if something is going wrong then it is still partially our responsibility to make sure that the status quo, as is desired by the Hong Kong people is continued despite what the lying selfish other side might think.

  2. nagualdesign Like they said right here in this news report, and has been said for a very long time now. There is no reasonable competitor against Huawei, there isn’t really anyone on the board right now poised to make billions from this deal except for China itself. Anything just happening all of a sudden. China has been doing this for decades, it’s just that everything now has finally reached breaking point. And about time too. We should’ve dealt with China years ago before they became the economic powerhouse they are today. With everything they have now, it’s going to be even harder to convince them that democracy is the true way forward without their government continuously censoring and lying to them.

  3. Hallelujah, the government is value doing something right about the China situation. All that’s left now is to finally declare sanctions against China, and perhaps have a small scale skirmish or two. Preferably to free Hong Kong. I’m also glad that this news report actually stated out loud that the new Chinese law is ‘illegal’. It really sends the message home that we are not going to be pussyfooting around this anymore.
