  1. Yes, and literally the whole point is that until now it’s been nothing but governments and they’ve just been stagnating as bureaucracy has ruined everything. This is the first time basically we are starting from scratch within the private sector and they are doing it a lot more safely than they did 60 years ago. Next they will be able to travel without life-support hoses, and after that lower the price exponentially, which is the whole point of what SpaceX is doing. Allowing more regular people to go into space, rather than just ridiculously the best of the best.

  2. Incredible work by Elon and everybody at the SpaceX company to bring this dream to reality.😍 Been watching this mission from beginning to end and it has been an amazing success. Another big step towards the future of commercial space travel, and taking it away from the stagnating bureaucracy of government run space agencies we’re seeing these days from the likes of the US and Russia. Ideally wish, and hope that someday we can have even a small piece of something like this here in the UK. Perhaps it’s time we actually start running, before we walk. 🚀
