  1. That is why we need to massively increase win turbine and solar panel production in the interim. We can do it but it hasn’t been pushed fast enough due to local areas having the choice over planning permission for where they can actually be installed because people have been absolutely whining babies about it. If all of that was thrown out of the window we could actually have a vast amount of a country running purely on renewables. Hopefully this will actually start happening soon otherwise people are going to start feeling it in their pockets SOON.

  2. Sorry mate but we can’t just go searching for other source of gas because we’ve lost this one. It’s not green virtue signalling, it’s a great opportunity to actually get done what we should’ve done freaking years ago. It’s time to cut the cord and gas and switch properly to electricity for heating our homes, and solar and wind power combined together with battery storage can get it done.
