  1. The simple answer is NO. The UK DOESN’T spend enough on our armed forces. Most of all, NOT ENOUGH SOLDIERS. We the public and aaaall of us with connections to the military have been saying this for a decade. WE NEED TO FIX THIS NOW.

  2. Here here. There is definitely corruption with contracts here. That’s definitely why we should be looking to more free-market individuals actually in the UK, who can do the work just as well for much cheaper prices that aren’t relying on their name brand reputation to charge as much as they want for new pieces of equipment.

  3. HERE HERE. That’s what the UK Public have been saying for a decade. Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it covers all the bases. By that logic we could spend billions to get over the minimum spending requirements on a couple of pieces of kit and somehow that would count. It doesn’t. We actually need manpower, right now. The UK military, especially the army is basically half if not a third the size of what it needs to be.
