  1.  @spanishafterhours  Very true. I feel like everything needs to be done in a rush now, as it always feels like there isn’t enough time or everything is against the clock. I’ve just graduated from university, and it feels like if I don’t get everything done now, then I will end up being a loser or something. I desperately want to learn Japanese, and perhaps even immigrate to Japan to work there for a year or more. But I’m not prepared to wait five years to acquire the language skills to do that. I want to be there in a year or two. It feels like that is unlikely, but I still have that set as a goal listening to drive me forward. See you are right, everything feels like it is in a rush, but we feel like we don’t also have any other choice.

  2. I had that when I started learning a few German words. And the same came a little as well when I did a tiny bit of Spanish. If I can do that with Japanese, it would be marvellous. I know some words now, but I truly wish to become fluent.
