  8. I wish. It’s our chance to at least try and get some semblance of being back on the playing field. Seeing the union jack on Mars would be a dream come true. And yes, I know no nation can claim any part of Mars as its own. I’m just saying that the planting of the flag would still be a wonderful thing to see. I’m sure we could claim asteroids though.

  17. Yeeeah, it really didn't work. I still now feel depressed. I know that the Universe would continue to expand, but I never really thought before, thanks to the slow passage of light between distant galaxies, that many of them now are, and with every second that passes forever out of reach no matter what we do. :( I know we are talking about imposable amounts of time, and realistically we will more than likely become extinct before any of this is perceivable, but it's still sad to think that this is happening to the universe around us RIGHT NOW WITH EVERY DAMN SECOND, and any future life may near know about or get to see the beautiful things we do now. We may be cut off from a huuuge part of the rest of the Universe, but they are the ones who will be truly alone. And the worst part, is that they won't even know it.

  20. I went into this video generally expecting I was going to come out of it feeling more depressed than I was coming in. Much like the previous video really I’m just how much we are disconnected for the rest of the universe. This video really does highlight just how short in many ways are existence really is when you break it down like this. But it’s generally something that’s only meant to help us reflect on what direction we are going on in one way or another, and allowers to make perhaps some better decisions on how we want to look back on our lives, or what we might like to do in the future.

  22. I’m a little surprised that Britain’s overall emissions are lower, considering the industrial revolution started here. Although seeing as it was mostly around coal, which has since started to fade away here and today oil is the main contributor, along with mass animal farms I guess it makes sense.

Especially when it comes to this one explaining that they will simply be a huge part of the past we will never get to know. Not unless we actually travelled there ourselves someday. No wonder it’s so popular in such a minute amount of time. Nuclear weapons…they truly are just iimmoral. It’s been two years now though since the treaty was agreed on and very little ‘if anything’ has changed. Nevertheless, we’ve still got to keep pushing forward. One day I’m sure we can all look forward to knowing that we won’t have to worry about nuclear Armageddon. Just possibly environmental catastrophe. One step at a time people. One step at a time.

  36. I hope Mars is able to catch yourself a bigger moon someday. Although if we end up living on Mars long enough as a second home, then most likely we will be able to do that for it. Not just make the planet green and blue, but also build it a bigger moon from what is already there.

  37. I’ve felt the same thing before. I used to be a lot more of an introvert until I was about 20 or 21. After that, I reeeally wanted to go out more, and truly make new connections and possible long term friends. I haven’t made as many as I would’ve liked or have drifted away, but some have stuck around in ways I didn’t expect and love now and am continuing to make more and hope this continues. Life is definitely better because of it.

  40. Really just goes to show that mass sterilisation is the only answer now. They just can’t be trusted to control their own population levels. Without one central or smaller numbers in terms of governments to roll-out legislations to control population levels, it may unfortunately be the only way. It’s cruel, but it’s the only solution left to stop this over population in time before it’s irreversible. It really is that or just a one child policy now.

  41. Well this was another reeeally great video, but I do now feel very much depressed. The Human mind though really does struggle to comprehend lifespans on a cosmic scale. These types of videos almost make it feel like we our going to witness this sad ending, including for future life in the next galaxy with our own eyes, when this is very much unlikely to be the case. Let us hope that they really don't end up thinking they are the only thing in the Universe. I can only image how sad or uncomfortable that would make a lot of them, especially if they ever found out the truth.

  43. I know what you mean. I think about this every time I picture of the dinosaurs in their natural habitat. They were just living their lives day off today and couldn’t even comprehend what was happening. Sure, some of them would’ve seen volcanoes or had earthquakes before, but nothing even remotely like this. It’s so unfair. I just wish that in the future some humans get Saint back in time to bear witness to their world and watch it just before it passes into history. This kind of thing can’t just be left up to guesses anymore. We need to see it ourselves. Only then, just like with old War footage, can we truly learn from the horror of complete extinction and why it is so important we work together to try and prevent it in the future. Plus, it would be one of the most incredible and magical events in history if we could actually go back in time and save some of them just on the brink of destruction. I honestly think it would be the greatest thing humanity would have, or ever achieve. It would be a redemption of everything humanity has done, and a second chance for both ‘even small pieces’ of our two vastly different eras.

  47. Totally. I’ve got two boxes worth from before I even finish college and I’m at university now. Will either end up painting them when I go back home sometime, or maybe just on a whim a few years from now, feeling like I’ve been transported back in time again to a different point in my life. It was quite hilarious when he brought that up and how shockingly it related to me. In fact this whole video seems to perfectly mirror how I view our time on this world and what I am going through right now, like so many of us. I guess it just goes to show in many ways really how more so predictable this whole predicament we all face really is. It’s just never really laid out quite this disturbingly accurate.
