  1. This is such disappointing news. Really can’t see why they’ve suddenly decided to do this now after all this time. Wasn’t even any warning about it. I wonder what percentage of the people of Barbados are pro and against this decision.

  3. Conscious Warrior 33 Oh go blow it out your ass. Seriously, the vast majority is of the British public support the monarchy. It’s basically the only thing now that helps to keep our particular form of governance in place (somebody higher than the Prime Minister). Without it, we probably would’ve ended up like America. And at that point, we might as well just nuke ourselves. The UK doesn’t need to be a republic, and the British public don’t want it. You are not the majority.
