  1. Brilliant effort by all of the volunteers. It looks like the protection will really pay off. Can’t believe how high it’s all been piled up right to the top of the statues. It must be really hard to figure all that out to make sure it doesn’t just all come toppling down. In the end though it will be worth it. We had the same thing in Britain when all of our valuable monuments had to be covered up during WW2 and was so worth it in the end to see them unveiled again when it was safe to do so.
