The footage is just seriously incredible. It’s been all over multiple year news agencies channels and for good reason. The drone footage was either incredibly well timed or was being used by a nearby unit. I’m very much guessing that they were using the drone to survey the area and they saw a helicopter in the distance so they got into position in time and used to help them gauge the distance better before firing. At least that’s what I’m assuming. This is definitely a good example of how drones can be used to great effect for Ukraine’s victory. Slava Ukraine🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💪🏼✊🏼

@hollow34 Seriously!? It looked like it was enough of a fireball before it hit the ground. Although there was probably an equal chance that they were, for those brief few seconds, perhaps burning in agony before they hit the ground. I think we can all at least hope that it was the former and they did die the instant it was hit. Well done Ukraine. This is definitely the kind of effort that will get you through this.

Indeed, I really can’t imagine you’d be able to respond pretty quickly. Not to mention that a lot of them are partially guided depending on the model. Sometimes they are only capable of making slight corrections whilst others are then capable of actually following their target to the point of turning completely around. Considering that, even if the helicopter was able to move even slightly, it wouldn’t have made a difference in the end. Its best chance would’ve been if it was actually a plane that could’ve travelled away fast enough or if it was travelling in the opposite direction and could deploy flares which even that might not have worked. In the end, Ukraine is slowly getting rocket launches that by the end of this should help to make more of a difference.

That is indeed so true. Although what the Ukrainian soldiers are doing here is very just and right, when you stand back and think about it it is very sad to imagine that a bunch of lives just disappeared from the universe in what must’ve felt like the blink of an eye. One second you are there and the next you are not and you barely even realise what is happening before it all goes poof.

Here here. I’m betting your military thought the same thing when they committed the coup against your government last year. You guys are still going strong trying to fight back against them. How is it going over there by the way? We haven’t heard much news coming out about any losses or successes in terms of the resistance against the Vietnamese military this year!

@ebill66 It really should’ve been translated into English a lot before that. Quite shameful really. It probably could’ve helped out a lot during the earlier colonial days.I know obviously plenty of us back then were educated in French and the other what were considered classical languages back then so I imagine plenty of us were still able to read the book, but the fact that it took so long to be put into English is rather surprising.

@Syllaren I couldn’t agree more on both statements. It’s not worth living if you are going to live under an oppressive government. Ukrainians are not fools. They are not prepared to fall into the entrapment of historical events. We are not going to let them repeat this crap again and again and again. Putin, you will NOT have this victory. @Syllaren Exactly. It’s really shameful that so many fools out there try to lump Iraq and Afghanistan into the same basket. Iraq was a bit of a screwup, but Afghanistan was exactly the right thing to do and it’s not the West’s fault that it couldn’t achieve enough victories to make a difference.
