  1. Bravooo. I just heard a report an hour ago that came out a week ago, showing that Saudi Arabia has been growing crops in the US Arizona in order to feed their cattle back home. It’s great to see that this first step to bringing it to an end has begun. Now they just need to stop the land leases altogether. I am in the UK, but seeing as this is of course about more than just the US, I am very pleased to hear this.

  2. It’s because growing this particular crop in the United Arab Emirates is illegal because it is, ironically, so water dependent. That’s why they’re growing it in the US.
