Seeing as there were some secondary explosions, it does stand to reason I guess that it still did have some munitions on board. It had apparently been there for a few days but can only hope they hadn’t unloaded everything in case it needs to be moved or stay mobile to avoid ground attack. Either way this is a big blow to Russia’s supply line as not only will it have taken out some of their equipment and supplies, it also means they are down a ship and it is now blocking One of the port areas. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦🇬🇧💪🏼

Here here. Putin can never be trusted.
6
This indeed seems to be pretty accurate here.😞 Can’t believe though they would think they would ‘also’ be bringing to their families by fighting for RUSSIA of all countries.
6
I hope that billboard going around gets a lot of positive attention. Need to educate the more ignorant masses among the good ones.
6
They are doing an incredible service here for people all over the world now. I really hope that the hotline can yield at least some relief or answers for the families of the Russian soldiers. In the meantime, it is helping to get the truth back to Russia about what is really happening and can continue from there. Keep up the good fight.
5
Yep. Ukraine now has definitely embraced the old British saying, ‘keep calm and carry on’.
5
Then you through ignorance are hurting the greener revolution future of humanity. You can’t just ignore it and its quality because you just don’t like the person themselves.
5
@rillo806 No we don’t. We are happy without these literal killing machines thank you very much.
5
Exactly. Why is THIS not the main headline. America sleepwalked into this.
5
LMAO. Yeah, it can be a little unnerving I guess for some, but don’t forget there are Irishman in the British forces, as is normal, and we in Britain have had experience with improvised explosives across the world for decades now. We probably have more experience dealing with IEDs now than any other Western force and it makes sense for us to teach Ukrainians how to do the same.👌🏼
5
@dedidi3347 Well one way or another, they are going to Ukraine. And hopefully so.
5
This was brilliantly said right here.
5
I couldn’t agree more. People seem to jump on Branson all the time and hate on him for no good reason but I feel this time there is no way people can argue against what he is saying. We all need to do what he is saying asap.
5
HECK YEAH
5
This really is a great success for Ukraine here and I’m glad that it also comes at the time the commemorative stamp of the event of Snake Island is available. I live in the UK and would very much like to purchase one if possible. Fingers crossed they’re doing international exports of it. Still hoping every hour of every day for the survival of the remaining forces in Mariupol. Stay strong chaps. It is very hard but are trying to do everything we can to help. Slava Ukraine
5
Well, Covid has helped in that regard, that’s for sure, but I don’t think it’s a conspiracy.
5
Here here. 35 being too old is utterly preposterous.
5
Oh I didn’t notice that until you brought it up. Yeah that’s a good point. Looks like the damage is further above the waterline so it might be that it was struck by a rocket. In which case it might have been fired at by either long-range rockets or perhaps some troops who infiltrated the local area and attacked it with rocket launchers. Hopefully we’ll find out soon enough.
5
@syav4467 Well, I hope America has finally learned that lesson now.
5
Elon is 100% right here and what has been highlighted here. End of discussion. The question is, how are we going to properly learn from this?
5
Yeah it feels like a really sad state to be in. To be completely frank I’m really surprised that women are allowed to be fighting whilst pregnant unless they were in an office position. I can only assume that is actually what is happening though.
5
Here here. Wagner MUST BE STOPPED, wherever they are.
4
Here here. We in the sane frame of mind will always support Ukraine in this fight. Slava Ukraine
4
It’s absolutely amazing that this reporter was allowed to come in at all and speak her mind. Rather interesting. Keep it up as best you can while you’re there.
4
All of it was a righteous commitment to Ukraine. These losses unfortunately happen in war.
4
If he doesn't finally do a god damn audiobook I don't know what.
4
Exactly. Either way we will benefit in the long term. What we are having to do to Russia right now in the end is actually what we should’ve been doing to help also protect the environment years ago. So one way or another this will fast track our direction towards using less gas and oil and switching towards renewables. We literally do not have any other choice now. It’s that or a gun to the face.
4
Truly wish you Americans could have another person like him, who also ’spoke’ like him.
4
Mark Hertling is absolutely right here. We neeeed to give Ukraine time. They have shown they can do this. We just need to give them WHAT THEY NEED when they say they actually need it. Slava Ukraine
4
Oh absolutely. Brilliant to see, IF IT IS TRUE. Will just have to wait and see what the intelligence has to say.
4
It is also probably thanks to the fact that it feels like a direct mirror to many of our own countries in the West and the shared values we feel. We see ourselves in them more than we have in many decades and at a point when we have felt so divided, this has reminded us what is truly important and brought us back together again one step at a time.
4
That’s the point.🤫 Just a smaaall update. We have to be careful.
4
@angrynapolean3820 Actually The ghost of Kyiv was real. It’s just that his identity still is very much guarded. Also that number the Russians released about the amount of Marines who surrendered was massively exaggerated. Unfortunately the news was released that at least one British volunteer was among them it is believed. Every volunteer knows what they are getting into and accept the possible consequences of that, and I support every last one of them for it, but I still very much hope that he and the rest of his unit makes it out of Russian hands alive after this.
4
I hope the same for the UK as well. We know a bit of what Ukraine has gone through after all, and yet we still sit on the sidelines.
4
Yes it might be a good idea to try and see if they can keep an eye on it as much as possible without giving it away (and without taking out the grudge straight away), so that once the Russians to try to rush over it without any jets overhead, Ukraine can hammer your side of the river with artillery and water fire to take them out in a sort of bottleneck fashion.
4
@Mediocre_JT yeah, I believe it can be calibrated differently according to what is needed, but apparently its best benefit is that of pushing through into armoured structures, like shallow concrete, bunkers or buildings. So it would make sense then that it would just penetrate cleanly straight through a bridge, and then perhaps explode on the other side.
4
I couldn’t agree more. It feels incredibly hypocritical for a lot of our nations to say that they can’t handover equipment just because they are too lazy to go through the bureaucracy of doing so, when a lot of the equipment is due for retirement or to be scrapped anyway. The US has huge military graveyards of equipment that was very little work would be considered gems by the Ukrainian forces on the front lines. Plus here in the UK, we are planning on upgrading a lot of our Challenge 2s to Challenge 3s, But we were going to in the process retire 10 or more of them. Of course this is unacceptable now, but it does mean that if we were going to do that then we might as well try and train the Ukrainians to use them, rather than just letting all of that go to waste. We are handing over pre-2000s built/designed armoured personnel and fighting vehicles, let alone the Mastiff vehicles used in Iraq and Afghanistan, so we might as well extend that to tanks.
4
Most definitely. The Donbass is the most important right now, but Crimea will be the eventual goal and once Ukraine gets all of the equipment needed, they can eventually make that push down to retake all of Crimea. Once they are solidified there again with modern weaponry, Russia will no longer be able to push them back along that tiny inland slit where the two countries meet. Here’s hoping once Ukraine is also able to get more naval based equipment this can be a success.
4
Here here. The American tanks are a terrible choice from what we’ve seen here in Europe. Challenger 2 tanks and Leopard 2 tanks both use petrol and mechanically are much more easy to maintain by comparison and are faster and more manoeuvrable with better armour. Germany/Olaf Schulz is just making pathetic excuses at this point that really makes no sense. Sending US M1 tanks would be a bad decision.
4
These are among the things we should've been sending to Ukraine from DAY ONE. How else did we expect them to defend their country long term. You have to be able to take out the enemy in the sky as well as their supply lines, otherwise the damn of Russian weapons and soldiers will just start pouring over again and again. You have to cut them off at the neck, rather than just pocking at the head a bit.
4
Well, the American Abram, from my perspective in the UK, would not be a good thing to send. It’s not as effective as the others are now and logistically, mechanically is very problematic. It would be more of a hindrance than a benefit. Germany is just throwing around random words now to make up excuses for not sending or even allowing others to send the leopard.
4
Ukrainian soldiers of the Azov battalion did a very good here and can been seen in the full videos online. Slava Ukraine
4
This’s going to be a looong counteroffensive ahead for Ukraine, but we know they are going to succeed. All our love and support to Ukrainian and foreign volunteer fighters in this fight no matter where you are.🇬🇧🇺🇦💪🏼
4
That’s actually a pretty good idea. They could at least send the American factories their designs and have a custom made casing done instead, therefore saving them time and work and allowing the US to start using their own variant as well in training.
4
Well his countrymen are dying every day, and probably every hour when all of our countries are holding back. So I can’t blame him for not wanting to be kissing the boots of people who just sometimes do one off donations of supplies.
4
It’s good this’s being reported here, although I’m a little bit surprised about the ripping into Boris Johnson near the end. He said obviously that there is a chance that Russia could win this war, which obviously there really is. It’s just a fact, but he did iterate very much that the UK believes Ukraine ‘will win this war’ and the same level of support as US dollars and should not be underestimated just because Britain isn’t as big as America. Although America has given far more weapons than the UK has been able to, per size the UK has given more population than any other country in the world. This shouldn’t be ignored.
4
Pleeeeease let it happen America. We in the rest of the world would sooooo love this.
4
I really hope the Challenger 2 and Leopard 2 tanks can start pushing forward eventually with infantry to back them up. It will be good to know they are actually making a difference now that they are apparently up and operational in the country.👌🏼💪🏼
4
America, from all of us across the rest of the free world, you are a lost cause. You’ve just broken her hearts too many times. You need a clean slate, not just heartless policies bolted onto a system that doesn’t work anymore.
4
This level of help is another great step forward. Also, I can’t believe that even though they apparently claimed to have taken back mood, they are now saying they are going to pull out of the city on Thursday to let the Russian army take over. Considering that will be a switch over, it’s safe to say the rest of the city will start to fall to the rest of the Ukrainians by then. That also shows what they said about taking the rest of the city really is probably a complete lie after all and just simply wanted to do that as a little bit of propaganda for a day or two.😆
